Development of Industrie-Training Scheme

The Government of Puducherry introduced the Scheme Development Of Industries-Training Scheme for the candidates to develop their skills to enable them to start their own ventures or to get suitable employment opportunity by sponsoring to selected short term trades.

💰The pattern of assistance: | - For Trainees-Stipend | (i) SSLC/ITI/H.S.C. – Rs.1,500 /- per month. | (ii) Graduate in Arts and Science/ Diploma in Engineering or equivalent – Rs. 2,500 /- per month. | (iii) Degree in Engineering & PG – Rs.3,000 /- per month (the stipend will be paid based on the minimum qualification fixed for the trades concerned). | To the Training Institutions : | - For Industries – | Towards wastage of raw material – Rs.300 /-per trainee per month.

Development of Manures & Fertilizers: Assistance for construction/Installation of Organic Manure Units

The scheme aims to aid in the conversion of available on-farm organic waste into chemical-free organic manure, providing quality organic farming inputs for sustainable agriculture. The applications for this scheme are accepted offline via the Zonal Agriculture Officer.

💰Construction/Installation of organic manure units would be provided 75% subsidy limited to Rs. 1950/- per cu.mt. for Organic manure unit for all categories of farmer. | - The standard cost for Organic manure unit would be Rs. 2600/- per cu. mt which includes 90% cost on construction/installation including mason cost and 10% on culture, decomposing material, etc. | - The unit can have one or more pits with or without internal chambers and preferably be above ground level, of bricks, laterite stones, cement blocks, shahabadi/kadappa or RCC cement rings with clean internal side walls and should have adequate protection from sun and rain. | - The portable organic manure unit of HDPE material and laid on prepared surface free from sharp objects and should be protected from rodents, maximum of 3 units would also be considered for subsidy @90% subsidy on the standard cost fixed and maximum amount of Rs. 7,500/- per farmer.

The scheme aims to effectively manage on-farm livestock waste to produce renewable energy through biogas units, converting animal waste into a sustainable energy source. The payment of the sanctioned subsidy is through the Electronic Clearance System (ECS).

💰Assistance for Construction/Installation of Biogas Plants | - Biogas plants constructed by the farmer would be provided 90% subsidy against the estimated standard cost of construction/installation for Biogas. | - To make the subsidy more inclusive and reflective of the actual costs involved, excavation costs, transportation costs, and Goods and Services Tax (GST) included in the standard cost mentioned for both pre-fabricated and constructed biogas plants. | Standard Cost & Eligible Subsidy for Pre-Fabricated Biogas | - For a 1 cu. m³ biogas plant, the standard cost is Rs. 31,000/- with 90% subsidy including central subsidy of Rs. 27,900/-. | - For a 2 cu. m³ plant, the standard cost is Rs. 54,140/- with subsidy of Rs. 48,726/-. | - For a 3 cu. m³ plant, the standard cost is Rs. 79,480/- with subsidy of Rs. 71,532/-. | - For a 4 cu. m³ plant, the standard cost is Rs. 1,25,000/- with subsidy of Rs. 1,12,500/-. | - For 5 cu. m³ & above plants, the standard cost is Rs. 1,12,200/- with subsidy of Rs. 1,00,980/-. | Standard Cost & Eligible Subsidy for Constructed Biogas | - For a 2 cu. m³ biogas plant, the standard cost is Rs. 46,220/- with 90% subsidy including central subsidy of Rs. 41,598/-. | - For a 3 cu. m³ plant, the standard cost is Rs. 52,070/- with subsidy of Rs. 46,863/-. | - For a 4 cu. m³ plant, the standard cost is Rs. 57,820/- with subsidy of Rs. 52,038/-. | - For 6 cu. m³ & above plants, the standard cost is Rs. 75,890/- with subsidy of Rs. 68,301/-. | Incentive Structure for Promoters | - The incentive structure for promoters involved in the installation of biogas plants aims to encourage field staff including Agriculture Assistant, Field Assistant, Krishi Mitra's to actively participate in promoting biogas plants. The incentive amount for Constructed Biogas will be ₹1500 per unit. | Plant Size Determination | The size of biogas units provided will be determined based on the number of cattle owned by the beneficiary. This approach ensures that the size of the biogas plant matches the amount of organic waste, particularly manure, generated, thereby promoting efficient gas production and utilization. The specific cattle-to-biogas unit ratios are as follows: | - For a 2 cu. mtr. size biogas plant, the applicant should own 2 cattles with approximately 30-40 kgs. of cowdung available per day. | - For a 3 cu. mtr. plant, 3 cattles are required with 45-60 kgs. of cowdung per day. | - For a 4 cu. mtr. plant, 4 cattles are required with 60-80 kgs. of cowdung per day. | - For a 6 cu. mtr. plant, 5 cattles are required with 90-120 kgs. of cowdung per day. | Repair Assistance | - For long-term maintenance and sustainability of the biogas plants, repair assistance of 20% of the standard cost will be provided after 6 years. | - This assistance will help ensure that the biogas plants remain operational and continue to serve the beneficiaries' needs. | Lifetime Limit and Subsidy Adjustment | - An individual beneficiary may receive a maximum of 3 units over their lifetime. | - The subsidy provided by Government of India under Biogas programme shall be adjusted within this subsidy and balance shall be paid from State funds.

The "Vermi-compost Units" component of the scheme aims to convert available on-field and farm waste material into chemical-free farm resources as farm input for organic farming through vermicomposting processes. The payment of the sanctioned subsidy is through Electronic Clearance System (ECS).

💰Construction/Installation of Vermi-compost unit would be provided 75% subsidy limited to Rs.1,950/- per cu.mt for Vermi-compost units for all categories of farmers. | - The Standard cost for Vermi-compost unit would be Rs. 2600/- per cubic meter which includes 90% cost on construction/installation including mason cost and 10% will be the cost of earthworms, etc. | - The unit can have one or more pits with or without internal chambers and has to be above ground level, of bricks, laterite stones, cement blocks, shahabadi/kadappa or RCC cement rings, having a cement floor with proper water outlet, with clean internal side walls and a proper ant proofing and should be protected from sun, rain and from attack of birds, lizards and rodents feeding on earthworms. | - The portable Vermi-composting unit of HDPE material i.e.Vermi-bed or Vermi composting bins of 100 litre and above laid on prepared hard surface free from sharp objects, and protected as above, maximum of 3 units would also be considered for subsidy @ 90% subsidy on the standard cost fixed and maximum amount of Rs 7,500/- per farmer.

The scheme “Development of Manures & Fertilizers" was launched by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Goa. The "Assistance for use of Micronutrients" component of the scheme aims to address micronutrient deficiencies in the soil that affect crop productivity and ensure healthy crop growth.

💰Assistance for the use of Micronutrients | - Micronutrients like Zinc, Boron, Magnesium Sulphate, and other notified micronutrients would be provided a 75% subsidy limited to Rs. 7,500/-per ha for all categories of farmers and a maximum of 4 ha per farmer. | - The subsidy would be released after the micronutrients are purchased and used by farmers.

The scheme aims to amend the soil based on soil test reports, address pH and nutrient deficiencies in fertilization practices, and address important soil deficiencies like micronutrients that affect crop productivity. 💰Assistance for the use of Soil Conditioner | - The soil conditioners like Rock phosphate, agricultural lime, dolomite, etc., would be provided a 75% subsidy limited to Rs. 6,000/- per ha for all categories of farmers and a maximum of 4 ha per farmer. | - The soil conditioner shall be purchased and used by the farmer, and the subsidy shall be released after the use of the same in the field.

The scheme encourages coffee growers to access high-value speciality markets through the production of eco-certified coffees to realize higher returns by adhering to a set of standards that help in the communication of the various conditions surrounding the production of coffee.

💰Extent of Support/ Subsidy | Certification Support: 50% of the certification cost, subject to a maximum of ₹50,000 (Rupees 50,000) per individual grower/grower groups. The Government of Rajasthan has launched the Devnarayan Chatra Scooty Yojana Scheme for the year 2023 in order to encourage female students in the state to study and to address the state’s low female literacy rate.

💰1500 scooties will be distributed free of cost every year according to the merit list of marks obtained in the 12th examination. | - Those are studying regularly in government colleges, state-funded universities, 12th (Senior Secondary) (girls who are not in the priority list of scooty acceptance) 10,000/- per annum in the first year, second year and third year. | - For Postgraduate first-year (P.G. degree) students, 20,000/- per annum in the admission year and Rs. 20,000/- per annum in the second year of post-graduation will be given as an incentive amount on obtaining 50% or more marks in the first year of post-graduation.

The scheme has been implemented to ensure that construction workers and their families get primary medical treatment at their doorsteps, prevent serious diseases and maintain their health at places including construction sites, labour colonies and Kadianaka.
