Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana

The scheme aims to provide old-age social security through a minimum assured monthly pension of ₹ 3,000/- to Small and Marginal Farmers after attaining the age of 60 years.

💰Monthly Pension Benefit: | - The subscriber will receive a minimum assured pension of ₹ 3,000/- per month after attaining the age of 60 years. | - Family Pension Benefit: | - In case of death of the subscriber, the spouse will receive 50% of the pension amount as family pension. | - Family pension is applicable only to the spouse. | - Government Matching Contribution: | - The Government of India will contribute an amount equal to the subscriber’s monthly contribution to the pension fund. | - Disablement Benefit: | - If the subscriber becomes permanently disabled before the age of 60 years, the spouse can continue the scheme by paying contributions or exit by receiving the subscriber’s contribution with interest. | - Exit Benefits: | - If the subscriber exits within 10 years, only the subscriber’s contribution will be refunded with savings bank interest. | - If the subscriber exits after 10 years but before 60 years, the subscriber’s contribution will be refunded with accumulated interest or savings bank interest, whichever is higher. | - If the subscriber dies before 60 years, the spouse can continue the scheme or exit with a refund of the subscriber’s contribution with interest. | - After the death of both subscriber and spouse, the corpus will be credited back to the pension fund.

The scheme “Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana: Per Drop More Crop” was launched by the Dept. of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India on 1st July 2015. The scheme mainly focuses on water use efficiency at farm level through Micro Irrigation.

💰Financial assistance to farmers for the installation of irrigation components under Micro Irrigation (all assets/ water sources for this must be mandatorily linked with a Micro Irrigation system to achieve water use efficiency). | - Installation of drip or sprinkler irrigation in the farmers’ field for selected crops. | - Installation of the irrigation system can be done either by the farmers themselves or by the selection of any approved Micro Irrigation companies. | - The pattern of assistance payable to the beneficiary under the micro irrigation scheme will be 55% for small and marginal farmers and 45% for other farmers which will be met by both the Central Government and State Government in the ratio of 60:40 for all states except the North Eastern and Himalayan states. In the case of these states, the ratio of sharing is 90:10. For the Union Territories, the funding pattern is 100% granted by the Central Government. | - Direct Benefit Transfer into the accounts of farmers. | - Farmers can also avail benefits like water harvesting structures both at individual and community levels, water lifting devices for conveyance efficiency, and digging of a farm pond, under Other Interventions of Per Drop More Crop.

Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan Yojana: Central Sector Interest Subsidy Scheme

The scheme provides full interest subsidy during the moratorium period on loan availed under Model Education Loan Scheme of Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) to students belonging to economically weaker sections whose annual parental income is up to ₹4.5 Lakhs from all sources.

💰Under the scheme, interest subsidy on education loans is provided for a maximum amount of ₹10 lakhs (Even sanctioned loan amount in excess of ₹10 lakhs would qualify for interest subsidy up to ₹10 lakhs only). | - In the scheme, no collateral security or third-party guarantee is required for Education Loans sanctioned upto ₹7.5 lakhs. The lonee bank is to ensure that this part of the loan is covered for guarantee under Credit Guarantee Fund Scheme for Education Loan (CGFSEL). | - The interest subsidy is allowed for pursuing higher education in professional/technical courses only from NAAC accredited Institutions or professional/technical programmes accredited by NBA or Institutions of National Importance or Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) in India. | Interest Rates: | The interest rates charged on the educational loan shall be as per the Benchmark Prime Lending Rate (BPLR)/Base Rate of the individual banks and as per the provisions for interest rates under the IBA Model Educational Loan Scheme. | Moratorium Period: | - Under the Scheme, the moratorium period is defined as a Course Period plus one year. Interest for only the moratorium period, at a simple rate of interest, will be borne by the Government of India, subject to the condition that the student completes the course of study successfully. | - After the period of moratorium, the interest on the outstanding loan amount shall be paid by the student, in accordance with the provisions of the existing Model Educational Loan Scheme of Banks and as may be amended from time to time. | Interest Concession: | Under the IBA Scheme, 2021, Banks at its discretion may provide a 1% interest concession if interest is serviced during the study period and subsequent moratorium period prior to commencement of repayment. However, the subvention provided by the Government should not be a cause for providing a 1% concession in the rate of interest.

The Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana (PMUY) is a scheme launched by the Government of India in 2016 to provide free LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) connections to women from below-poverty-line.

💰Cash assistance for PMUY connections is provided by the Government of India - Rs. 1600 (for a connection 14.2kg cylinder/ Rs. 1150 for a 5 kg cylinder). The cash assistance covers: | - Security Deposit of Cylinder – Rs. 1250 for 14.2 kg cylinder/ Rs. 800 for 5 kg cylinder. | - Pressure Regulator – Rs. 150. | - LPG Hose – Rs. 100. | - Domestic Gas Consumer Card – Rs. 25. | - Inspection/ Installation/ Demonstration charges – Rs. 75. | Additionally, All PMUY beneficiaries will be provided with first LPG refill and Stove (hotplate) both free of cost along with their deposit-free connection by the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).

Pradhan Mantri Vidyalaxmi (PM-Vidyalaxmi) Scheme

The "Pradhan Mantri Vidyalaxmi (Pm-vidyalaxmi) Scheme" aims to provide financial support for higher education through education loans. Under this scheme, financial assistance of up to ₹10,00,000/- is provided to meritorious students seeking admission to domestic institutions.

Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana: Part A- Support for First-Time Employees

This component of scheme provides an incentive to assist first-timer employees in navigating their learning curve before they become fully productive with completing their financial literacy course over EPO portal. It provides one time incentive of upto ₹15,000/- to assist first timer employees.

💰Support for First-Time Employees: | - First-time employees joining an establishment covered under EPFO with a gross wage upto ₹1,00,000/- per month. | - Benefit equivalent to one month wages limited to a maximum of ₹15000/- paid in two installments. | - First installment is paid to the Aadhaar seeded bank account of the employee directly on completion of 6 months of service. | - After 12 months of service, the second installment is transferred to a savings scheme to be paid to the member at a later date. | The incentive shall be disbursed within 45 days after fulfilling the eligibility condition and filing of paid ECR as per the periodicity defined under the scheme, through through (Aadhaar Bridge Payment System) Direct Benefit Transfer to their Aadhaar seeded bank accounts.

Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana: Part B- Support to Employers with Focus on Manufacturing Sector

This component is an employer-focused Part of the scheme that supports creation of sustained additional employment in all sectors. It incentivizes employers for 2 years for creation of additional employment. For establishments engaged in manufacturing sector, incentives will be provided for 4 years.

💰The benefits under this Part will be provided to the employers in respect of the employees who are either first timers or Re-Joinees, subject to fulfilling the threshold criterion. | Amount of Incentive/ Benefit and Periodicity: | Under this Part of the Scheme, incentives will be provided to the employer at the following rates for two years in respect of employment generated over and above the baseline fulfilling the threshold limit i.e., at least 2 additional employments with baseline of less than 50 and at least 5 additional employments with baseline of 50 or above. The calculation of benefits will take into account the net additional employment generated. | - The benefits to the employer will not accrue for any month in which the employer is not eligible as per the threshold criteria laid out in the Scheme. In such cases, there will be no extension of the incentive period. | The incentive to the establishment shall be provided as Direct Benefit Transfer to PAN linked bank account of the establishment.
