Travel Concession To The Differently Abled Persons In State Owned Transport Corporation Buses

The Government of Tamil Nadu introduced Differently Abled Persons In Stated Owned Tranportat Corporation buses.

💰i) All visually impaired persons are given travel concession to travel up to 100 Km. to and fro without any condition and free of cost. | ii) Free-of-cost travel concession is allowed to intellectually disabled persons to travel with one escort. | iii) The speech and hearing impaired and locomotor differently-abled persons are given travel concession free of cost up to 100 Kms to go to schools/colleges/hospitals/training centers/work spots from their residence and return. | iv) Free travel concession is provided to children with disabilities to attend early intervention centers and pre-schools along with one escort/parent. | There is no income ceiling to avail concessions in (i) to (iv).

💰Financial Assistance for the total admissible expenditure such as travel, registration fee, per diem allowance and visa fee. | NOTE: The entire amount due to the candidate is disbursed in one instalment after the conference is over and relevant documents are submitted by the applicant.

Trekking Traction Centre Home-stay Grant Scheme

The scheme aims to promote tourism and improve local livelihoods in rural areas near trekking routes. The scheme provides financial assistance to villagers for constructing or renovating home-stays in traditional hill-style architecture, ensuring quality accommodation for tourists.

💰Under this scheme, villages located within a 2-kilometer radius of the identified tracking traction center are eligible for benefits. For the construction of buildings with toilets along the identified routes, a grant of ₹60,000/- per room is provided. In cases where building repairs are required, a grant of ₹25,000/- per room is provided, for up to a maximum of six rooms.

The scheme aims to provide full financial coverage for motor driving training, including courses for Light Motor Vehicles and Heavy Motor Vehicles, specifically recognizing Goa’s future in the transport sector. It benefits eligible Tribal families in Goa whose annual income is below ₹1,20,000/-.

💰The Government will provide the cost of the training entirely, covering 100% of the training fee. | - For Light Motor Vehicle training, the proposed financial outlay per beneficiary is ₹3,000/- (Indian Rupees three thousand). | - For Heavy Motor Vehicle training, the proposed financial outlay per beneficiary is ₹4,000/- (Indian Rupees four thousand). | - The assistance is provided for training in both Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) and Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV). | - It is targeted that 400 persons (200 for LMV and 200 for HMV) will be provided this assistance in a financial year.

💰For BPL families: A total subsidy of ₹25,000/-, comprising ₹10,000/- from the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) under the Swarnajayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY) and ₹15,000/- from the Directorate of Social Welfare (DSW).- For non-BPL tribal families (with annual income < ₹1,20,000/-): A subsidy of ₹15,000/- from DSW.- The subsidy is a one-time financial assistance towards the cost of purchasing a tourist taxi for livelihood use. | - Target Beneficiaries per Year: 50 tribal households. | _The vehicle must be registered and operated as a tourist taxi under applicable transport regulations._ | _The vehicle must be used solely for livelihood/self-employment by the beneficiary._ | _The subsidy is non-recurring and can be availed only once per household._ | _Misuse or transfer of vehicle ownership within the benefit period may lead to withdrawal or recall of the assistance._

💰Provision of the entire project financing for establishing a Tea/Coffee and Coconut Parlor, with a project cost of about ₹25,000/- to ₹30,000/-. | - The beneficiary will be rewarded with the entire amount deposited if they successfully deposit the aforesaid amount. | Conditions | _The beneficiary has to deposit 50% of the total project cost to the Department._ | _The deposit must be paid in 36 installments._ | _The required deposit must be completed within a period of three years._ | _If the beneficiary fails to deposit the amount or installments in time for three consecutive months or defaults for more than 3 times, their right to ownership will be suspended until the entire amount is paid._ | _*If the beneficiary fails to repay the amount for six months, the same will be forfeited in favor of the Government._

The “Tripura Lynching/Mob Violence Victim Compensation Scheme” was launched by the Home Department, Govt. of Tripura on 14th August 2018 for providing funds for the purpose of compensation to the victim or his dependents who have suffered loss or injury as a result of lynching/mob violence.
