The scheme aims to provide free uniforms to all girl students studying in Classes 1 to 8 of government and government-aided schools, as well as to all boys belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, and boys from the General category who fall under the BPL category.

💰Under this scheme, two sets of uniforms per student are provided through DBT/SMC to students studying in classes 1 to 8 of government and government-aided schools, covering all girls, all boys belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories, and boys from the General category belonging to BPL families.

💰Experience Certificate/Internship Completion Certificate: A certificate regarding successful completion of Internship shall be issued by the Adviser of the concerned Subject Division 1. Allows young academic talent to be associated with the NITI Aayog's work for mutual benefit. | - Opportunity to know about the Government functioning and Developmental Policy issues in Government of India and contribute to the Policy formulation by generating policy inputs such as empirical analysis, briefing reports, policy papers, etc. | NOTE: Interns not completing the requisite period will not be issued any certificate.

In this scheme, Special Education is provided to children with disability who are below the age of 18 years. The child should be enrolled in a special school run by a Non-Governmental Aided Organization. Vocational Training is given to special children above the age of 18 years.

Noni Suraksha Yojana

The scheme aims to improve the educational and health status of girls, lay the foundation for their bright future, prevent female feticide, promote a positive attitude towards the birth of girls, and prevent child marriage. It provides financial benefit to girls who remain unmarried until 18 years.

💰Financial assistance of ₹1,00,000/- will be provided by a financial institution upon the girl's 18th birthday, provided she is unmarried and has completed 12th standard education. The amount shall not be less than ₹1,00,000/-. | - ₹5,000/- per year, totalling ₹25,000/- over 5 years, will be invested in the name of the eligible girl through the Life Insurance Corporation of India. | - An additional corpus/contribution of 10% of the amount given to LIC will be provided to ensure the maturity amount is not less than ₹1,00,000/- and to account for potential devaluation of the Rupee. | - The Life Insurance Corporation of India will handle all formalities from application receipt to payment. | - The beneficiary girl/family will also be eligible for benefits under other social security schemes operated by the Life Insurance Corporation of India, as per the rules. | Mode of Disbursement: Through a bank account opened in the beneficiary girl's name at the time of payment. | Disbursement Conditions: The beneficiary girl must provide her 12th-grade mark sheet, an affidavit of being unmarried until 18 years of age (verified by the Child Development Project Officer or authorised officer), and her bank account details. | If the girl dies before the age of 18, the amount will be forfeited.

The “NPS Vatsalya” is a pension-cum-saving scheme designed for minors, regulated by PFRDA. It aims to secure the financial future of minors by offering a structured pension scheme, with contributions managed by a guardian until the minor turns 18.

💰Opening an NPS Vatsalya account provides the child with a head start on saving for retirement and offers valuable financial lessons from an early age. It instills the importance of financial planning and discipline. which can benefit the child throughout their life. | - Upon reaching 18 years, the account automatically transitions into a regular NPS Tier I account, maintaining investment continuity with no additional administrative steps. | - For the purpose of education of the subscriber, treatment of specified illnesses, disability more than 75%, or the reasons as may be specified by PFRDA in the interest of the minor subscriber under the regulations, the guardian shall be allowed to partially withdraw up to 25% of subscribers’ contribution excluding returns thereon, after a minimum of 3 years from the date of opening of account, for maximum three times till the subscriber attains 18 years of age. Such facility shall be made available on a declaration basis.

The Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (SSEPD) Department, Government of Odisha, recognises that beggars are valuable human resources for society and seeks to create an environment that provides them equal opportunities.

💰The students desirous to avail of the scholarship shall submit applications in the prescribed format to the DSSO with certification/ recommendation by the head of the educational institutions. | - Under this scheme students so eligible will get a scholarship for a maximum period of 10 months in an academic year. The students availing scholarships from either the Central or State Govt. under any other scheme shall not be considered. | - Rate of scholarship | - Pre-Matric (From Std. V to X) ₹ 800/- Per month. | - Post-Matric (From Std. XI–XII) ₹ 1,000/- Per month. | - General Graduate/ Post Graduate Courses ₹ 1,500/- Per month. | - Professional Degrees/ Diplomas/ Certificates ₹ 2,000/- Per month. | - The DSSOs will scrutinize the applications and shall submit requirement of funds to the Department by the end of September. After receipt of the funds, DSSOs will remit the scholarship to the accounts of the students with the approval of the Collector. | - The scholarship required will be remitted in advance for one year in question and roll over to the next academic session. | - The utilization certificate on the expenditure shall be submitted by the DSSO along with proof of remittance with due counter signature of the Collector to the Department by 28th February of each year. | - Efforts should be made to utilize funds in the same year. In exigencies, the undisbursed balance amount should be rolled over for next year's payment and shall be utilized first.
