Food Safety & Standards Authority Of India (FSSAI) Internship Scheme

The Internship Program by the FSSAI provides interns with unique learning opportunities in various areas of food regulation of food safety administration. FSSAI is a statutory body established under the Food Safety & Standards Act, 2006 under the aegis of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

💰Stipend | A stipend of ₹ 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) for the internship period will be given to the deserving Interns on the recommendation of the Office/Division that they are attached with by the respective FSSAI (HQ)/Regional Offices / Laboratories. | NOTE: The criteria for deserving interns will be decided based on their (a) attendance, (b) assessment by their respective reporting officers; and (c) evaluation of the report by the Committee. | Working Space | FSSAI shall provide working space, internet facility and other necessities. | NOTE 1: FSSAI shall not cover local lodging and travel facilities. | NOTE 2: FSSAI will not bear the expenses of any Boarding. | NOTE 3: Interns would be required to have their own laptops. | Certificate | All the interns will be awarded a certificate by the Human Resource Division, FSSAI (HQ) on successful completion of the internship i.e. on submission, review of final report/presentation and recommendation by the Project Evaluation Committee.

Forest And Climate Change Internship Scheme

The Scheme seeks to engage students, with Graduation/Postgraduation Degrees, as well as Research Scholars, enrolled in recognized Universities / Institutions within India, or abroad, as “Interns”. These "Interns" shall be inducted all over the country in various Divisions/Units of the Ministry.

Free Coaching Scheme

The scheme aims to provide good coaching quality for DNT candidates to enable them to appear in competitive examinations and succeed in obtaining an appropriate job in the Public/Private Sector.

Coaching Fees: | The actual course fee of the institute in which the student is applying, which the institute charges from general students, or the prescribed course fee by the Ministry as per the Annexure of the Scheme, whichever is less. Number of Benefits: | The benefits under the Scheme can be availed by a particular student not more than twice, irrespective of the number of chances he/she may be entitled to take in a particular competitive examination. | 6. Coaching for Multi-Stage Examinations: | Where the competitive examination is conducted in two stages, namely Preliminary and Mains, the candidates will be entitled to free coaching for both examinations. They will be entitled to free coaching up to two times each for Preliminary and Main examinations as per their convenience. However, there will be no restriction on the number of chances for coaching for the Interview if the candidate is selected for the interview. | 7. Distribution of Slots: | Of the total selected students, 40% shall be earmarked for competitive exams having eligibility condition as Class 12 (e.g., NEET, JEE, CLAT etc.). The remaining 60% students shall be for competitive exams having eligibility condition as Graduation (e.g., CAT, Civil Services Examination, etc.). | Mode of Disbursement: | - Coaching Fees: The course fee shall be released directly into the Aadhaar-linked bank account of the beneficiary candidate in two installments through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode. | - The first instalment of 50% of the eligible amount will be released immediately after the candidate uploads the admission confirmation/assurance from the coaching institute on the online portal. | - The remaining fee will be reimbursed after receiving proof of joining the institute by the candidate and deposition of the amount released as the first instalment by the candidate to the institute. | - Stipend: The stipend to each student shall be paid directly by the Ministry through DBT.1. Good Samaritan Scheme

Launched on 3rd Oct 2021 by the MoRTH, the scheme grants an award to the good samaritan who has saved the life of a victim of a fatal accident (involving a motor vehicle) by administering immediate assistance and rushing to the Hospital/Trauma Care Centre within the Golden Hour of the accident.

💰If one Good Samaritan saves the life of one or more victims of a single fatal accident involving a motor vehicle, the amount of the award will be ₹ 5000/- only. | - If more than one Good Samaritan saves the life of one victim of a fatal accident involving a motor vehicle, the amount of the award i.e. ₹ 5000/-will be divided equally among them. | - If more than one Good Samaritan saves the life of more than one victim of a fatal accident involving a motor vehicle, the amount of award will be ₹ 5000/- per victim saved subject to a maximum of ₹ 5000/-per Good Samaritan. | - Every cash award would be accompanied by a "Certification of Appreciation". | - There will be 10 National Level Awards for the most worthy Good Samaritans (who will be selected from all those who have been awarded during the whole year) and they would be given an Award of ₹ 1,00,000/- each. | - An individual Good Samaritan can be awarded a maximum of 5 times a year.
