The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Economically Backward Class (EBC) students studying at the post-matriculation or post-secondary stage to enable them to complete their education. These scholarships shall be available for studies in India only.
Under the scheme, financial assistance of ₹1,20,000/- is provided to Scheduled Caste individuals who do not own a residential home, have an old rough residential home, or own a plot for residence, and who belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category for the construction of a house.
