Scheme for Small Business Owners of Scheduled Castes to Buy a Place of Business/Shop

Under the scheme, financial assistance in the form of loans and subsidies is provided by banks to individuals belonging to the Scheduled Castes category. This assistance is aimed at enabling them to purchase business premises or shops in urban areas for business development.

💰Under the scheme, a maximum loan of ₹10 lakhs will be available to the beneficiary belonging to the scheduled caste category to buy a business premises/shop in the urban area. The beneficiary will bear interest up to 4%, while any bank interest payable above 4% will be covered by the government as an interest subsidy for three years. | - ₹15000/- is also given as subsidy assistance under the scheme.

The objective of the scheme is to support the efforts of the management of the Non-Government aided institutions/non-grant-in-aid institutions for the upgradation and maintenance of infrastructural facilities for promoting a conducive atmosphere for learning.

💰As Goa Education Development Corporation is a Grant in Aid Corporation, Soft loan beneficiaries are assisted by taking loans from Economic Development Corporation and further disbursing it as below: | 50% of the Loan Amount | Released immediately on the issue of sanction order by the Directorate of Higher Education. | 40% of the Loan Amount | Released on the production of a certificate from a Government Registered Engineer duly signed by a Chartered Accountant and College Principal/Head of Institution; to the effect that the first instalment of 50% has been fully utilized for the purpose for which it was granted. | 10% of the Loan Amount | Released subject to the following three conditions: | a) Production of a certificate from a Government Registered Engineer duly signed by a Chartered Accountant and College Principal/Head of Institution; to the effect that 40% of the loan amount has been fully utilized for the purpose for which it was granted. | b) The project is completed and a completion certificate for that effect is produced by the Management. | c) The occupancy certificate is issued by a competent authority to the satisfaction of the Directorate of Higher Education.

In the year 2010-11, Rajasthan Government has taken the initiative to encourage girl child education by starting a scheme to Study Abroad.

💰A maximum of Rs. 30,000 for coaching and up to Rs.50,000 for registration for SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) examination will be borne by the state government per student on the basis of actual expenditure. | - An amount of Rs. 25 thousand will be given to each girl student for submitting an application form for admission to a foreign university. | - After the acceptance of the application by the foreign university, full accommodation facility of the university will be given and the economy class fare will also be provided to meet the parent once a year | - A maximum amount of up to Rs.10.00 lakh per year will be spent on all the items on each student in the 4-year course.

The scheme “Scheme for Subsidy on Interest for Establishment of 1 to 20 Milch Animal Farm for the State Cattle Breeders” was started by the Dept. of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Co-operation, Government of Gujarat.

💰The beneficiary can purchase 1 to 20 Milch animals (Any dairy animal cow & buffalo) at a subsidized rate as per their need and capacity to maintain. | - The beneficiary can get an interest subsidy up to a maximum of 12% on the unit cost of the animal or the unit loan advanced by the bank for the purchase of the animal, whichever is lower, will be available for a period of five years. | Note 01: The amount of interest subvention will be deposited in the beneficiary's loan account in the form of a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in installments. The “Scheme for Upliftment of Utsavi Rangabhumi of Goa” has been designed with the objective of encouraging the festival theatre of Goa which is known as “Gomantakiya Utsavi Rangabhumi”. This form of theatre has an illustrious tradition of presenting plays during festivals in the villages.

💰Nature and Quantum of Assistance | - Financial assistance for the production of prose play will be a maximum of ₹ 20,000/- or 75% of the actual cost, whichever is less. However, the same could be decided by the selection committee from time to time depending upon the type of the play. | - Financial assistance for the production of the Sangeet play will be a maximum of ₹ 30,000/- or 75% of the actual cost, whichever is less. However, the selection committee may suggest the quantum from time to time. | - The department may identify a few groups for providing directional support. In this case, fees of the directors and technical experts, including the duration of short-term production workshops will be decided by the Government from time to time. Undertaking in this regard from the concerned devasthan/traditional village institution/village committee shall be required to be submitted. | - The selection committee may recommend an amount of ₹ 3,000/- to the scriptwriter for his new script if desired, based on the quality of the play. | [NOTE: The village theatre groups could apply for financial assistance towards prose as well for sangeet natak.
