Scheme for Promoting Young Talents in Science-II

The scheme “Scheme for Promoting Young Talents in Science-II (SPYTiS-II)” is constituted for the purpose of providing financial and technical assistance to talented young students who have innovative ideas in scientific/technological pursuits.

💰Students who have innovative ideas in science & technology are enrolled in polytechnic colleges and undergraduate courses in colleges will be provided financial assistance up to ₹10,000/- for conducting projects. | - Financial assistance will be provided to the host institution and the students have to work under the guidance/supervision of a teacher. | - Awardees are encouraged to participate in the Science Talent Fair, National Children’s Science Congress, or Kerala Science Congress organized by KSCSTE to present their projects/findings. | - The duration of the project is one year. | - Under the scheme, no major equipment for research will be granted. Minor equipment, if found necessary, will be granted only to an institution in the State. In such a case, the budget for minor equipment shall be limited to 30% of the maximum eligible amount. Further, all permanent assets evolved from the project shall be the assets of the institution.

Scheme for Promotion of Manufacturing of Electronic Components and Semiconductors (SPECS)"

The scheme aims to offset the disability for domestic manufacturing of components and semiconductors to strengthen the electronics manufacturing ecosystem. Through this scheme, a financial incentive of 25% on capital expenditure to legal entities registered in India.

💰Financial Incentive: | • A financial incentive of 25% of eligible capital expenditure is provided to approved units manufacturing goods as per the eligible list annexed to the Scheme. | • The total incentive under the Scheme is 25% of eligible capital expenditure for an approved application. | • The incentive is over and above any incentive offered by the State Government or any of its agencies or local bodies. | • Applicants shall also be eligible to take benefit under any other scheme(s) of the Government of India; however, investments committed under the Modified Special Incentive Package Scheme (M-SIPS) for which incentives have been claimed shall not qualify as eligible investments under SPECS. | What Constitutes Eligible Capital Expenditure | Capital expenditure includes the following: | • Expenditure on plant, machinery, equipment and associated utilities — including tools, dies, moulds, jigs, fixtures (including parts, accessories, components, and spares thereof); expenditure on packaging, freight/transport, insurance, and erection and commissioning. Associated utilities include captive power and effluent treatment plants; clean rooms; air curtains; temperature and air quality control systems; compressed air, water and power supply; and IT/ITES infrastructure related to manufacturing including servers, software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. | • Expenditure on Research and Development (R&D) — including in-house and captive R&D, test and measuring instruments, design tools, software cost (directly for R&D), and expenditure on technology, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), patents and copyrights. | • Expenditure on Transfer of Technology (ToT) — including cost of technology and initial technology purchase related to eligible goods. | • Expenditure on refurbished/used/second-hand plant, machinery and equipment (including associated utilities and R&D) — whether imported or domestically procured — not exceeding 20% of total eligible plant, machinery and equipment. The scheme aims to protect and support the thousands of children living in slums and on the streets of Goa, also orphans and runaways escaping poverty, neglect or abuse. These children are often at great risk from malnutrition, illness and neglect, and need a helping hand in healthcare, shelter etc.

💰An amount of ₹ 25,00,000 shall be sanctioned as a time grant to the selected institutions/NGOs as per clause (A).1. The quantum of financial assistance to the eligible institutions under clauses (B) & (C) shall be as per the recommendation of the selection committee and the approval of the government. | - Enhanced grants as per clause (C) shall be considered on a case-to-case basis. 💰Provision of Counseling Services | - Youth-friendly counseling services are provided to assist distressed students to think more clearly and positively and develop the skills required to find their way forward. | - Counselors discuss and assist trainees with various concerns, including Stress Management, adjusting to the Industrial Training Institute environment, life transitions and changes, difficulties in family relationships, depression, anxiety, anger, physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, thoughts of suicide, trauma, and other feelings that cause discomfort. | Monetary Remuneration (For Contract Staff) | - Remuneration for Counselors is ₹28,000/-. | - Remuneration for the Supervisor is ₹35,000/-. | - Remuneration for the Data Entry Operator is ₹20,000/-. | Conditions | - The appointment of the Counselor, Supervisor, and Data Entry Operator is on a contract basis for a period of 12 months. | - The renewal of the contract shall be strictly based on the performance of the staff member, which will be assessed by the constituted Committee. | - The Directorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship will pay the remuneration from the funds provided by the State Government or by the Government of India through any Centrally Sponsored Schemes.

This scheme is a credit linked scheme with a primary objective of providing self-employment opportunities, the unemployed persons will be assisted by way of establishing Sheep or Goat Units (15 female+1 male) and Piggery Unit (10 female+1 male).

Under this scheme, an unemployed resident of Haryana who is between 18 and 60 years of age can avail a 25% subsidy on the cost of livestock, provided they have taken a loan for establishing a 10+1 Piggery unit or a 15+1 Sheep/Goat unit.

💰Financial Assistance under the Scheme: | Establishment of 10+1 Piggery units: | - 25% subsidy on the cost of livestock which has been availed as a loan by the beneficiary for establishment of a 10+1 Piggery unit. Scheme for Relief and Rehabilitation of Women Acid Victims

Under the scheme, the acid attack victim is entitled to receive 100% free medical treatment from government or government-approved hospitals. Additionally, an ad-hoc relief of ₹1.00 lakh is provided to the acid attack victim, which is later reimbursed by the Women and Child Development Department.

💰Under the scheme, the following benefits will be provided to women acid attack victims: | - ₹25,000/- as ad-hoc relief immediately by the concerned Deputy Commissioner. | - ₹75,000/- within 15 days by the Women and Child Development Department for immediate medical expenses. | - Finance Support for 100% medical treatment including medicine, food, bedding and plastic surgery/reconstructive surgery, if any from amongst any of the Government Hospital/Government approved hospitals.

Scheme for Relief to the Un-registered Workers

The Andhra Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board launched a welfare scheme "Scheme for Relief for the Un-registered Workers" to provide the financial assistance to the dependents of unregistered workers who die in accidents at construction sites.

💰Compensation for Deceased Workers: | - Financial Assistance of ₹50,000/- to the dependents of unregistered workers who die in accidents at construction sites or related projects. | Relief for Permanent Disabilities: | - ₹20,000/- is provided for cases of permanent disability where the disability is 50% or above. | - ₹10,000/- is provided for cases of permanent partial disability where the disability is below 50%.

Scheme For Residential Education For Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA): Mode 1 - SHRESHTA Schools (Best CBSE Private Residential Schools)

The scheme aims to provide access to high quality education to students from Scheduled Caste communities in best private residential schools. It provides scholarships and bridge courses to meritorious Scheduled Caste students selected through national entrance test.
