Krishak Utpadak Kshati Sahayata Yojana

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance and compensation to farmers in the event of loss or damage to crops, livestock, or agricultural land caused by fire, flood, or heavy rains in the notified areas of the state.

💰Damage caused by fire accidents to standing crops, harvested crops in the field, crops stored in barns for threshing, or residual produce in the notified market areas of Uttarakhand State, as well as damage to property and livestock due to fire in the farmer’s house, and damage to agricultural land due to floods or rain-induced soil erosion, all such losses make farmers eligible to receive compensation under this scheme.

The scheme aims to provide agricultural input subsidies in affected areas due to the rise in water levels of rivers like Ganga and Kosi and flood-related crop damage from heavy rainfall.

The scheme aims to provide merit-based financial assistance to children of CM-KISAN beneficiaries pursuing professional and technical courses, supporting higher education through Direct Benefit Transfer.
