The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to aged and needy Goan artists who have lost the source of income due to the pandemic. The scheme provides relief in the form of financial assistance amounting to a min. of ₹5,000/- (lumpsum) up to a max. of ₹10,000/- (lumpsum) to eligible artists.

💰One-time financial assistance in the range of ₹5,000/- to ₹10,000/- (lumpsum) per eligible artist, as decided by the committee. | - Released in the Bank Account (Nationalized Bank) of the artist. The disbursement is done in the form of Electronic Clearing Service mode.

KALIA Scholarship

The objective of the scheme is to extend financial assistance to the children of the beneficiaries under KALIA for pursuing Professional/Technical courses in the State of Odisha.

💰The tuition fees, annual fees, one-time fees, hostel charges, and any other fees deposited by the student in the colleges/universities/institutions except the caution money/any other refundable money as admissible shall be released to the concerned student Account directly through DBT. | - The mess /hostel charges of ₹1200/- per month & ₹1000/- per month for ten months shall be provided to the Degree & Diploma/Polytechnic/ITI students respectively as per the guideline of ST & SC Development, Minorities and BCW Department. | Note 01: For the refund and penalties in different situations, the institution shall follow the guidelines/modalities of the concerned Department/Institution. Any refundable security deposit shall not be part of the scholarship and needs to be paid by the student. | Note 02: The scholarship sanctioned in favour of a student shall be liable for cancellation if he/she is found to have obtained the scholarship by false statements, discontinue his/her studies, or is in receipt of any other scholarship.

The scheme aims to help young entrepreneurs in the state establish new manufacturing enterprises and small businesses, including those offering services and trading. The scheme offers soft loans and subsidies for new income-generating projects.

💰The scheme provides financial assistance in the form of a soft loan and subsidies for new income-generating projects in manufacturing, service, and trading/business sectors. The total financial assistance available is up to ₹2,00,000/-. | - Project Subsidy: A subsidy of 15% of the project cost is provided, with a maximum ceiling of ₹25,000/-.1. Interest Subsidy: This subsidy is paid to the entrepreneur on the annual interest they pay to the Cooperative Bank. | - 50% of the interest is subsidised for timely repayment for a maximum period of 3 years. | - 40% of the interest is subsidised for all other cases for a maximum period of 3 years. | Mode of Disbursement: | Bank Loan: The State-owned Cooperative Bank disburses 95% or 90% of the loan amount as Cash Credit in two installments. | - The first installment, which is 50% of the loan amount, is disbursed and linked to the applicant's Cash Credit Account. | - The second installment is disbursed after the bank receives a certificate confirming the utilization of the first installment. | Subsidies: | - Project Subsidy: Cooperative Banks submit claims for the project subsidy to the District MSME Facilitation Centre (MFC) on a quarterly basis. The MFC then sends a requisition to the Department, which releases the total subsidy amount to the West Bengal State Cooperative Bank Limited.- Interest Subsidy: The Chief Executive Officer of the West Bengal State Cooperative Bank submits a requisition for the interest subsidy on a half-yearly basis. The subsidy is then credited to the sanctioned and disbursed loan's Cash Credit account.- Disbursement for both subsidies happens through the portal, which is linked to the Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS). | Validity: | - The interest subsidy is provided for a maximum period of three years. If the bank agrees to a longer loan repayment period (e.g., 5 years), the government's interest subsidy will still be limited to 50% of the interest paid in the first three years.
