💰Loan Limit | - Loan amount of ₹ 50,00,000/- to individual women. | - Loan amount of Rs 1,00,00,000/- to self-help groups. | Margin Money | - A margin money of 25% of the sanctioned loan amount will be provided under the scheme. For women belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes, Scheduled Castes, widows, abandoned women, victims of violence and disabled women, the margin money will be 30% of the sanctioned loan amount. | - Note: | - The maximum limit of margin money will be ₹ 15,00,000/-. | - The applicant's own contribution (5% / 10% of the project proposal) will be considered for margin money. | - Land value will not be included in the project proposal. The maximum limit of loan amount payable for construction of workshop/building will be up to 20% of the sanctioned amount of the project proposal. | - The maximum limit of loan for business will be Rs. 10 lakh. Business refers to wholesale or retail purchase-sale of commercial products. | Promotion of collateral security free loans: | - As per the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India, collateral security will not be required for loans up to Rs. 10 lakh. Loans above Rs. 10 lakh can be linked with the Credit Guarantee Trust Fund for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE). The fee amount will be borne by the beneficiary. If the applicant voluntarily wants to give collateral security on the loan, they can do so.

DSIR is operating a scheme called "Recognition of In-House R&D Units" with the objective of granting recognition & registration to in-house R&D units established by the corporate industry. The In-house R&D units are expected to be engaged in innovative research & development activities.

💰The Government of India has announced a number of fiscal incentives for research and development by industry from time to time and many of these incentives are implemented through DSIR. 💰Financial assistance in the form of a grant of ₹40 lakhs excluding overhead cost and industry share (25%) for a period of three years shall be provided to Scientists and Technologists of R&D Centers/academic Institutions/Organizations actively involved in biotechnological research with emphasis on areas relating to marine, agriculture, health and environment. | - In addition, the host institution will be eligible for an overhead @ 10% of total expenditure subject to a ceiling of ₹2 lakh. | Note: Under the scheme, the industrial collaborator who is willing to share 25% of funds additionally, a clear statement needs to be submitted along with an endorsement from the Head of the organization and should clearly mention the extent of financial support and break-up of the budget.

💰Total Financial Outlay: The total financial outlay for setting up the Central Smart Surveillance Unit infrastructure over five years is ₹15,00,00,000/- (Rupees fifteen crore). | Specific Annual Financial Requirements (Central Setup Costs): | - 2021-22: ₹2,50,00,000/- for 1,000 institutions. | - 2022-23: ₹2,80,00,000/- for 1,100 institutions. | - 2023-24: ₹3,00,00,000/- for 1,200 institutions. | - 2024-25: ₹3,20,00,000/- for 1,300 institutions. | - 2025-26: ₹3,50,00,000/- for 1,400 institutions. | Intended Use: The funds are intended for setting up the Central Monitoring System, developing a dashboard, and covering maintenance costs. | Disbursement Conditions/Flow: | - Funds for installation of Closed-Circuit Television cameras or electronic devices in Grant-in-aid institutions will be incurred under their respective scheme. | - Funds for the Central Monitoring System, dashboard, and maintenance will be contracted with an external agency selected through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) via a transparent mechanism. | Conditions | The Grant-in-aid organization must get the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) of the Closed-Circuit Television system or electronic devices, using their own resources, after the warranty period expires.
