The scheme “Seed Capital Scheme” is a scheme by the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Government of Goa, for the Startups of Goa. Through this scheme, startups with a promising idea can get a one-time grant of up to ₹ 10,00,000.

💰Start-ups with a promising idea can get a one-time grant of up to ₹ 10,00,000, as determined by the Start-up Promotion Cell (SPC). | - This incentive can be availed by 100 start-ups each year which will be selected by the SPC as per its due diligence and guidelines. | NOTE: Under no circumstance shall the benefits under this scheme be considered an entitlement. The SPC shall reserve the sole right to accept or reject applications.

"Self Employment Scheme" provides financial support up to a maximum of ₹ 10,00,000 to any individual person belonging to Scheduled Tribes Community to undertake any self-employment activities.

💰Financial Support up to a maximum of ₹ 10,00,000 to individuals. | - Loan/ Financial Assistance up to a maximum of ₹ 10,00,000 to the Association / Societies / Partnership / Self-help groups (SHG) / Companies. | - The beneficiary is required to contribute a 10% margin money towards the cost of the project. (The BOD may relax this condition considering the merit in each case, but this relaxation shall not be applicable to the Association / Societies / Partnership / SHG / Company etc). | Insurance | - The life of the beneficiary and the business activity shall be insured from fire, theft, cyclone and other natural calamities with the agency identified by the Corporation and the said policy shall be endorsed in the name of the Corporation. | - In the event of any calamity, the compensation received from the Insurance Company shall be adjusted against the loan outstanding in the Corporation.

💰Under the scheme, the maximum amount of financial assistance to a family will be ₹30,000/- at a time. | Note: Financial assistance shall be given only once for the dependents of a prisoner for the purpose.

Semi-Commercial Duck Farming

The scheme “Semi-Commercial Duck Farming” started under the State Sector Scheme "Encouragement of Commercial Poultry Entrepreneur and Promotion of Backyard Poultry Production" to support small entrepreneurs in setting up Duck farms with a capacity of 1000 ducks.

💰The individual beneficiary will be provided a maximum of 40% subsidy. | - Training will be organized at the Block Head Quarter level or any other convenient place after the final approval of the list. | - Each beneficiary will be trained on recommended management practices on feeding and watering, brooding and rearing young ducks, record keeping, etc. | - The concerned Livestock Inspectors, Gomitras and PraniMitras will guide the beneficiaries in field for managing the duck units. | - Routine vaccination of birds on a priority basis. | - The Block Veterinary Officer (BVO) will provide all technical guidance to the farmer for maintaining proper veterinary health care and immunization of the ducks. | - The beneficiary shall directly procure quality ducklings from reputed sources which will be facilitated by the respective BVOs. | Note: The subsidy will be released in two phases through DBT mode to the individual beneficiary. The 1st installment of 40% of the eligible subsidy will be released after the construction of the duck shed and 2nd installment of the eligible subsidy shall be released after the stocking of ducklings.

In order to prevent child marriages and support marriage expense of financially distressed families, on 02nd October 2014, Government of Telangana (GoTS) introduced a welfare scheme called “Shaadi Mubarak’’, providing financial assistance for marriages of minority community girls.

💰Under the Scheme, one-time financial assistance of ₹1,00,116 /- at the time of marriage shall be granted to every unmarried girl belonging to the minority community with effect from October 2, 2014 subject to the eligibility condition. | - The financial assistance of ₹1,25,145/- is provided to the parents of disabled girls. | Note: The "Shaadi Mubarak" is only a one-time financial assistance and can be availed only once in a lifetime.
