Launched on 1st April 2018, the scheme "Mukhya Mantri Shramik Seva Prasuti Sahayata Yojana" by the Labour Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, provides maternity support to pregnant women over 18 years of age who are registered as unorganized workers.

💰First Installment: | - ₹4,000/- during pregnancy. | - Requires four prenatal check-ups by a doctor or ANM in the prescribed period until the last trimester. | Second Installment: | - ₹12,000/- for delivery in a government hospital. | - Requires early breastfeeding initiation, registration of the newborn, and institutional birth. | - Infant must receive 0 doses of BCG, OPV, and Hepatitis B vaccinations.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance for upto 2 girls in a family. Assistance is given in 2 installments per girl child: 1st installment of ₹11,000 is provided at the time of birth if girl is born in a hospital/ANM center & 2nd installment of ₹51,000 is given when girl passes Class 12th.

💰Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to two girls of an eligible family in two installments for each girl child: | - ₹11,000/- at the time of birth. | - ₹51,000/- when the girl passes Class 12. | For the first installment, the application must be submitted within six months of the girl’s birth, and the child must be born in a hospital/ANM center. | For the second installment, the application can be submitted when the girl passes Class 12. Applications are invited from July to November of the same year in which she passes. If applied in the next year, the application will not be considered valid. The second installment will be granted only if the girl has passed Class 12 from the Uttarakhand Board, Secondary Education Board of other states, CBSE, ICSE, or the National Institute of Open Schooling, New Delhi, and the girl must be unmarried.

💰Decoration | The Awardee is given a Citation, Memento, and a Cash award of ₹ 2,50,000/-. | No. of Awardees | The total number of Awardees is 15 (Fifteen). | Presentation of Award (Ceremony Details) | - The Award shall be presented in New Delhi at a special ceremony/function to be held on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons on the 1st of October every year. | - The Awards shall be presented by the President of India or the Prime Minister of India. | - The boarding and lodging expenses of the awardees including one companion for each awardee shall be borne by the Central Government.1. The to-and-fro travelling expenses and accommodation for up to one day prior to and after the date of the Samman ceremony (depending upon the actual arrival and departure dates) shall be arranged and the expenditure shall be reimbursed by the Central Government.1. The TA/ DA admissibility of the awardees and one companion shall be equivalent to that of the Joint Secretary to the Government of India.
