💰In case of death due to accident : ₹5,00,000/- | - In case of permanent total disability due to accident : ₹3,00,000/- | - Permanent total disability means disabling of two eyes or both hands or both legs due to accident. | - In case of partial permanent disability due to accident : ₹1,00,000/- | - Permanent partial disability means disabling of one hand or one leg. | - In case of serious injury in an accident : Up to ₹20,000/- | - (Serious injury in an accident means the beneficiary being admitted as an in-patient in the hospital for at least 5 days. The determination of serious injury will be decided based on the certificate issued by the Medical Board .) | - In case of minor injuries in an accident : Up to ₹5,000/- | - Minor injuries means hospitalization as an inpatient in a hospital for less than 5 days | - In case of normal death of a construction worker : ₹75,000/-

The Journalist's Medical Welfare Scheme was first implemented in 2012 by the Government of Assam. Under this scheme, one-time financial assistance is provided to the accredited and recognized journalists of Assam for their medical treatment.

Medical assistance shall be provided to Building & Other Construction Workers who are registered under A.B.O.C.W.W.B. during hospitalization, partial disability & for critical diseases such as Cancer, Heart attack, Failure of kidney, Liver cirrhosis etc. as per the decision of the Board.

💰Medical Assistance: ₹1,000/- per day for the first 5 days hospitalized + ₹200/- each for the remaining days of hospitalized subject to maximum ₹20,000/-. | - Registered beneficiaries also avail of partial disability benefits of ₹25,000/-, ₹50,000/-, ₹75,000/- and ₹1.50 Lakhs on the percentage of disability upto 25%, upto 50%, upto 80% and more than 80% respectively. | - Financial assistance of ₹1.50 Lakh for critical diseases such as Cancer, Heart attack (bypass surgery), Failure of the kidney (kidney transplantation), Liver cirrhosis, etc. shall be given to registered beneficiaries as per the decision of the Board.

The scheme provides medical assistance to the Building & Other Construction Workers, who are registered under the A&N Islands Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, and his/her dependents' family members during hospitalization due to accident or illness.

💰Medical assistance will be provided to the beneficiaries @ ₹200/- per day for the first 5 days of hospitalization and ₹100 per day for the remaining days subject to a maximum of ₹5,000/-. | - The beneficiary shall be entitled to ₹1,00,000/- in the event of medical referred cases to the Mainland of the beneficiary or his/her dependents to the Mainland by the Govt. Medical Authorities for treatment. | - Subject to production of a referral letter from competent authority ₹1,000/- for Beneficiary or their "Family" in case of emergency treatment in a hospital operating in Andaman & Nicobar Islands (once in a year). | - Subject to the production of referral remarks by Govt. Hospital/PHC in outer Islands ₹600/- per day for the period of their stay in Port Blair subject to a maximum of ₹15,000/- (Medical referral cases from outer Islands of Andaman & Nicobar Islands to Port Blair).

💰The financial assistance shall be ₹200/- for first 5 days and ₹20/- each for the remaining days subject to a minimum ₹1,000/-. | - This assistance shall also be given to the beneficiary who meets with an accident and is put in plaster at the residence. | - If disability resulted due to an accident, the worker shall be eligible for financial assistance upto a maximum ₹5,000/- depending upon the percentage of disability.

The "Medical Assistance and Wage Loss for the Construction Workers'' by the BOCW Welfare Board, U.T. of DNH & DD, is a welfare scheme that provides medical expenses for injuries sustained during employment and will pay half-monthly wages during the period of disablement to the eligible worker.

💰Reimbursement of Medical Expenses: The Board will reimburse the actual medical expenditure incurred by the beneficiary for treatment of injuries caused during the course of employment upon the production of original bills. | - Reimbursement will be provided Wage Compensation: The Board will pay the beneficiary half-monthly wages for the period of disablement.
