The objective of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC, and DNT students (who are not covered under SC, ST, or OBC) is welfare and motivation to the children of these categories by providing financial assistance at pre-matriculation or secondary stage.

💰Coverage Value of Scholarship: | - The students shall be given a consolidated academic allowance of ₹4,000/- per annum. | Note: The entire scholarship amount both from the State and Central Government will be paid directly into the account of the students or parents ONLY through DBT preferably through an Aadhaar Based Payment System (Aadhaar Payment Bridge-AePS).

The objective of the scheme is to recognize and promote quality education amongst Students belonging to OBC, EBC and DNT categories by providing full financial support. The Scheme will cover OBC/EBC/DNT students for pursuing studies beyond Class XII.

💰The OBC/EBC/DNT students, who secure admission in the notified institutions, will be awarded scholarships to meet the requirements for:- | - Full tuition fee and non-refundable charges (there will be a ceiling of ₹2.00 lakhs per annum per student for private sector institutions and ₹3.72 lakhs per annum per student for the private sector flying clubs for Commercial Pilot Training and Type Rating Courses) | - Living expenses to the beneficiary @₹3,000/-per month per student | - Books and stationery @ ₹5,000/- per annum per student | - A latest computer/laptop of a reputed brand with accessories like UPS and printer limited to ₹45,000/- per student as one-time assistance during the course. | Note 01: The scholarship will become payable immediately after a student has secured admission and has started attending the classes. | Note 02: The payment of tuition fees and other non-refundable charges will be made directly to the institution by the Central Government through Direct Benefit Transfer mode. | Note 03: Similarly, the payment of living expenses, books & stationery, and computer/laptop with accessories will be made directly to the student by the Central Government through Direct Benefit Transfer mode.

The UGC has initiated a scheme of “Post Doctoral Fellowship for Women” to those candidates, who are unemployed holding Ph.D. degree in their respective subject areas with an aim to accelerate the talented instincts of the women candidates to carry out the advanced studies and research.

University Grants Commission is implementing the scheme of Post Graduate Scholarship for GATE/GPAT Qualified Students for Pursuing M.Tech/M.E./M.Pharm courses (including integrated dual degree courses).

💰The Scholarship under the scheme is ₹12,400/- per month per student. | - An annual contingency of ₹5,000/- will be given to the eligible student. | Note 01: If a student scores below 60% in any semester he/she shall be paid a scholarship @ ₹1,550/- in that particular semester, if the student re-appear for the same semester and scores above 60 %, he will be entitled to get regular scholarship i.e. @ ₹12,400/- p.m. for that semester in which student reappeared. But thereafter after he is eligible for the full scholarship amount, in the next semesters. | Note 02: The contingency grant sanctioned will be reimbursed to the scholar on the actual expenditure incurred by him/her on the admissible items within the limit. The books and non-consumable items purchased or acquired, out of the contingency grant, will be the property of the concerned university or the institution and the scholars have to return the same at the end of the programme i.e. post graduate and research work to the concerned institution. | Note 03: No house rent is admissible to M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharm. students. | Note 04: The scholar shall not undertake any paid assignment (emoluments/salary/stipend) during the tenure of the scholarship. | Note 05: It will be obligatory on the part of every post graduate student to undertake 8 to 10 hours (per week) of work related to teaching and research activities as assigned to him/her by the institute. The scheme has been initiated to provide opportunity to deprived sections of the society, viz. SC/ST for undertaking postgraduate level studies in Professional subjects like Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy etc. in recognised Indian Universities/Institutions/Colleges.

💰The tenure of the award is for two/three years depending upon the tenure of the postgraduate course and not for an extended period of study, if any. | - Candidates selected for the award of PG scholarships (under ME/M.Tech.) shall be provided a Scholarship @ ₹7800/-per month for the duration of the PG Scholarship. | - For other courses, the amount of scholarship will be paid @₹4500/- per month. | - No contingency is payable to the students selected under the scheme with effect from the selection year 2017-18. | - The scholarship shall be payable to the awardee from the date of joining the Post Graduate 1 year course during the selection year.
