PM-YASASVI: Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC and DNT Students

The objective of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC, and DNT students (who are not covered under SC, ST, or OBC) is welfare and motivation to the children of these categories by providing financial assistance at pre-matriculation or secondary stage.

💰The OBC/EBC/DNT students, who secure admission in the notified institutions, will be awarded scholarships to meet the requirements for:- | - Full tuition fee and non-refundable charges (there will be a ceiling of ₹2.00 lakhs per annum per student for private sector institutions and ₹3.72 lakhs per annum per student for the private sector flying clubs for Commercial Pilot Training and Type Rating Courses) | - Living expenses to the beneficiary @₹3,000/-per month per student | - Books and stationery @ ₹5,000/- per annum per student | - A latest computer/laptop of a reputed brand with accessories like UPS and printer limited to ₹45,000/- per student as one-time assistance during the course. | Note 01: The scholarship will become payable immediately after a student has secured admission and has started attending the classes. | Note 02: The payment of tuition fees and other non-refundable charges will be made directly to the institution by the Central Government through Direct Benefit Transfer mode. | Note 03: Similarly, the payment of living expenses, books & stationery, and computer/laptop with accessories will be made directly to the student by the Central Government through Direct Benefit Transfer mode.

PM-YASASVI: Top Class College Education for OBC, EBC and DNT Students

The objective of the scheme is to recognize and promote quality education amongst Students belonging to OBC, EBC and DNT categories by providing full financial support. The Scheme will cover OBC/EBC/DNT students for pursuing studies beyond Class XII.

💰The grants will be provided for tuition fee, hostel fee, and other charges as required by the school, subject to a maximum of ₹75,000/- per annum per student of Class 9 and 10 and ₹1,25,000/- per annum per student of Class 11 and 12. | Note 01: The release of funds will be directly into the account of beneficiaries through DBT mode. | Note 02: Payment shall be made in installments to be released before 15th August each year.

PM-YASASVI: Top Class School Education for OBC, EBC and DNT Students

The objective of the scheme is to provide premium education to the meritorious students belonging to OBC, EBC, and DNT categories by funding their education from Class 9 onwards till they complete Class 12.

Post Doctoral Fellowship to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Candidates

This scheme has been initiated keeping in view social background of candidates from the deprived section of society and to provide them an opportunity to undertake advanced studies and research in Science, Engineering & Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences in Indian Universities/Institutions.

💰The financial assistance available under the scheme is as follows: | - The fellowship under the scheme is @ ₹38,800/- per month for fresh candidates. | - The fellowship under the scheme is @ ₹46,500/- per month after two years. | - An annual contingency of ₹50,000/- will be given to the eligible student for five years. | - Escorts/Reader assistance will be paid @ ₹2000/- per month (fixed) in cases of PWD (Person with disability). | House Rent Allowance: | - Suitable single-seated hostel accommodation may be provided to the candidates in the institutions. Post Doctoral Fellowship To Women Candidates

The UGC has initiated a scheme of “Post Doctoral Fellowship for Women” to those candidates, who are unemployed holding Ph.D. degree in their respective subject areas with an aim to accelerate the talented instincts of the women candidates to carry out the advanced studies and research.

Post Graduate Merit Scholarship Scheme For University Rank Holders At Under-Graduate Level Applicable

UGC, Dept. of Higher Education introduced a Post-Graduate Merit Scholarship Scheme for University rank holders both in General and Honours Courses at the UG level. The scholarship may be tenable for a period of two years.

💰The Scholarship under the scheme is ₹12,400/- per month per student. | - An annual contingency of ₹5,000/- will be given to the eligible student. | Note 01: If a student scores below 60% in any semester he/she shall be paid a scholarship @ ₹1,550/- in that particular semester, if the student re-appear for the same semester and scores above 60 %, he will be entitled to get regular scholarship i.e. @ ₹12,400/- p.m. for that semester in which student reappeared. But thereafter after he is eligible for the full scholarship amount, in the next semesters. | Note 02: The contingency grant sanctioned will be reimbursed to the scholar on the actual expenditure incurred by him/her on the admissible items within the limit. Post Graduate Scholarship for GATE/GPAT Qualified Students for Pursuing M.Tech/M.E./M.Pharm-UGC

University Grants Commission is implementing the scheme of Post Graduate Scholarship for GATE/GPAT Qualified Students for Pursuing M.Tech/M.E./M.Pharm courses (including integrated dual degree courses).

💰Financial Assistance: Scholarship is provided to the poor students to help them achieve the benefits of Higher Education. | Mode of Disbursement: Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) | _The applicant must maintain registration as Doctor of Philosophy/Post Doctorate Research Scholar in recognized universities._ | _Academic performance standards must be maintained as per university requirements._

Post Graduate Scholarship for Ph.D./LLM Students

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to students of Assam pursuing PhD and LLM degree courses in recognized institutions. It benefits academically meritorious students who have obtained at least 55% marks in their last qualifying examination and are domiciled in Assam.

💰Amount of Scholarship: | - The Scholarship under the scheme is ₹12,400/- per month per student. | Other Entitlements: Students are eligible for the following leaves- | - Casual leave: 15 days in an academic year | - Medical leave: Maximum of one month (30 days) in an academic year | - Maternity leave: Candidates are eligible for maternity/ Paternity leave as per Govt. of India norms issued from time to time at full rates of scholarship etc. once during the tenure of their award. AICTE in order to ensure the development of technical education in India awards Post Graduate Scholarship of ₹12,400/- per month to full-time GATE/CEED qualified students admitted to AICTE approved post-graduate programs in AICTE approved Institutions/University Dept. as per AICTE approved intake.

Post Matric Scholarship To Scheduled Caste Students Of Nagaland

The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) has launched the Post Matric Scholarship to ST students of the Nagaland scheme for providing socio-economic welfare to the students belonging to the residentship of Nagaland state. The student must be studying or getting admission to the post-matric class.

The "Post-Metric Scholarship" scheme, implemented by the Department of Denotified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Welfare, Government of Madhya Pradesh, provides financial assistance to students from class 11 to college level, including medical, engineering, science other courses.

Post Metric Scholarship For OBC Students

Post SSC Scholarship for Boys/Girls from Socially and Educationally Backward Classes

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to students from Socially & Educationally Backward Classes and Nomadic & De-notified Tribes pursuing education after SSC. Under this scheme, eligible students receive yearly scholarships ranging from ₹1,500 to ₹5,000, depending on their academic group.

💰Fellowship: Monthly stipend based on the academic status of the fellow: | - ₹58,000/- for candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis but await the degree. | - ₹61,000/- for candidates holding a Ph.D. degree. | - ₹67,000/- for external applicants with a Ph.D. and at least two years of research experience. | Academic Allowance: One-time academic allowance of ₹ 10,000/- during the fellowship. | Accommodation: Fellows may receive PRL accommodation or HRA in lieu of accommodation as per PRL norms.
