Rainfed Area Development (RAD) scheme was launched in 2014-15 to mainstream development of rainfed areas in a sustainable manner. It adopts an area-based approach, focuses on Integrated Farming System (IFS) for enhancing productivity and minimizing risks associated with climatic variability.

Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana is a scheme of the Government of Chhattisgarh for the farmers. This scheme was launched on 21 May 2020, on the death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi.

💰i. In the Award Ceremony, the Awardees shall be presented a Sanad (certificate) signed by the Hon'ble Union Minister (Agriculture & Farmers Welfare) & President, ICAR. A commemorative brochure, containing the citation and photograph of the awardees shall also be released on the day of the ceremony. | ii. The decoration to such persons who are not able to attend the award ceremony due to personal reasons (including indisposition, preoccupation, etc.) shall be deemed to have been conferred. No other person (including the spouse/next of kin) should be allowed to receive the award on behalf of the absentee awardee except in posthumous cases.

The scheme "Reimbursement/ Spot Exemption of Sales Tax on High-Speed Diesel Oil" under "Financial Assistance for Availing Subsidy Components for the Development of Marine Fisheries" introduced to reimburse the sales tax on high-speed diesel oil used by the registered mechanized boat operators.

💰The prevailing sales tax on high-speed diesel oil consumed by a registered boat will be reimbursed/spot-exempted subject to a maximum of 15,000 liters per boat per annum, as may be revised by Government from time to time.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The scheme aims to encourage farmers and youth in Goa to take up Dairy business to increase local milk production and achieve state self-sufficiency. It offers a 40% composite subsidy on milk proceeds (incentive and cattle feed subsidy) to eligible resident farmers.

💰A composite subsidy amounting to 40% (forty percent) of the proceeds of milk supplied to the Dairy Co-operative Society/Bachat Gat/Self Help Group. | - Incentive on milk: 32.28% (thirty-two point two eight percent). | - Incentive on cattle feed: 7.72% (seven point seven two percent). | - The scheme is linked to the cattle feed subsidy scheme. | Disbursement | - Monthly disbursement of benefits to beneficiary's Bank account via Electronic Clearing System (ECS). | - The beneficiary must have a Bank account in any Bank having a core banking system/Electronic Clearing System (ECS). | Mandatory Obligations | - The beneficiary must produce their own milk at their Dairy Farm. | - The beneficiary must not procure milk from others and pour it to the Dairy Co-operative Society/Bachat Gat/Self Help Group in their name. | - The quantity of milk supplied and the number of milch animals reared by the farmers will be checked by the departmental area officer in addition to the supervisor/officials from the concerned organization. | - In case of any fraud or malpractice regarding milk supply or animal count, the Department shall stop the composite subsidy (incentive on milk and feed) forthwith. | - If fraud or malpractice occurs, the benefit of all schemes will be withdrawn. | - In matters of fraud or malpractice, the decision of the Director will be final and binding on the party.
