What is the type of assistance provided in the scheme?
A financial assistance of up to Rs. 30,000/- per family can be given for adoption of integrated farming systems such as cultivating crops along with trees (agro forestry or horticulture) or undertaking at least any two activities out of fishery, apiculture, silage making & vermicomposting.
What is the maximum limit for the monetary assistance?
A monetary support of Rs. 30,000/- per family for adoption of integrated farming systems. This amount is over and above any other assistance availed by other complimenting schemes such as WDC-PMKSY, MGNREGA, NFNSM, other components of RKVY, National Mission on Edible Oil-Oilseeds (NMEO-OS), Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH), National Mission on Natural Farming, Sub Mission on Agricultural Extension(SMAE) etc. through convergence.
Does the financial assistance vary according to the farmer’s landholding?
The amount of assistance shall be uniform for all farmers irrespective of the size of their land holding. Credit support, if required, may be arranged to meet the balance
Who can avail benefits of this scheme?
All the farmers of the State & Union Territory are eligible to take the benefits of this scheme.
What activities are eligible for assistance under the scheme?
Integrated farming systems or combination of at least any two activities out of fishery, apiculture, silage making & vermicomposting.
Can I avail benefits under RAD scheme if I am already a beneficiary of PMKSY-WDC scheme?
Yes, you can avail, benefits under RAD are over and above PMKSY-WDC and other complimenting schemes of RKVY.
Is there any application fee?
No. The entire application process is completely free of cost.
What documents are required for application?
Once the cluster is identified by the state government for scheme implementation, they may ask for KYC documents (Aadhar, Voter Id, etc.), bank account details, photographs, land documents/ownership proofs and any other document on case to case basis.
