What types of units are eligible for registration?
Eligible units include residential units (hotels, resorts, guest houses), travel trade-related units (travel agents, domestic tour operators), catering units (restaurants, food courts), entertainment units (amusement parks, golf courses), adventure tourism units (rafting, paragliding), and other units (yoga/meditation centers, handicraft shops, tourist information centers).
Is Aadhaar mandatory for registration?
Yes, both an Aadhaar number and an Aadhaar-linked mobile number are mandatory for registration.
How much is the registration fee?
The registration fee is ₹1,000/-.
Who conducts the inspection of the unit?
The inspection is conducted by the District Tourism Development Officer (DTDO) of the respective district.
What happens after inspection?
Upon successful verification, the applicant is issued a registration number, and the unit is legally authorized to operate.
