The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand, studying in Class 8 in a government, local body, or government-aided school (excluding central and residential schools).

How can students apply for the scholarship examination?
Students can obtain the application form from the Block Education Officer’s office or download it from the official websites of the School Education Department (https://schooleducation.uk.gov.in) or SCERT Uttarakhand (https://scert.uk.gov.in) during September–October.
Is there any application or examination fee?
No, there is no fee charged for the application form or the examination.
Where should the completed application form be submitted?
The completed form must be submitted to the Principal of the school where the student is enrolled.
How is the admit card issued?
After submission, the Block Education Officer issues the admit card. Students can collect it from their school or the BEO’s office.
When is the scholarship examination conducted?
The scholarship examination is conducted every year in the month of January.
