Training programs are organized to promote self-employment under the Skill Development in Critical Areas of Biotechnology. These programs range in duration from 30/45 to 90 days for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and 180 days (Dissertation Program) for postgraduate students. | During the training period, selected students conduct their research and practical training in the Council’s modern research laboratories. The trainees receive hands-on training in plant tissue culture, molecular biology and genetic engineering, environmental biotechnology, hydroponics, and soilless farming. After receiving the training, beneficiaries are better able to manage their business, self-employment, and agricultural activities.
