What you get

Under this scheme: | - ₹8,500/- per hectare for unirrigated areas. | - ₹17,000/- per hectare for areas with assured irrigation. | - ₹22,500/- per hectare for all types of evergreen crops. | In cases where crop damage exceeds 33%, assistance will be provided only up to a maximum limit of 2 hectares per farmer.

Who can apply

The applicant must be a resident farmer of Uttarakhand engaged in agricultural activities within the state.; The financial assistance will be applicable only for the area actually sown with crops.

After the Patwari verifies and records the damage, the report is verified by the Tehsildar and then by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) for further approval.

Who gives the final approval for disbursing relief funds?

The District Magistrate (DM) provides the final approval for releasing relief funds to the eligible beneficiaries.
