- Under this scheme, the maximum grant limit for any individual farmer shall be ₹1.00 lakh or the grant amount admissible for the cultivation of up to 2 hectares of land (based on the survival rate of plants), whichever is less. | - The grant is provided for the cultivation of nine selected aromatic crops, namely aromatic grasses (lemongrass, citronella, palmarosa, khus, etc.), damask rose, mint (except Japanese mint), geranium, black cumin, rosemary, bay leaf, timur, and sandalwood, undertaken by the farmer at his or her own expense.

What happens after the application is submitted?
After submission, CAP field personnel will inspect the farmer’s land and recommend suitable crops based on local climatic conditions to the Director, CAP.
When can the farmer apply for the first installment of the grant?
The farmer can apply for the first installment within six months of registration by submitting the prescribed application form along with bank details to CAP.
