The scheme aims to promote self-employment & entrepreneurship among rural youth by providing financial support. Financial assistance is provided to Mangal Dals affiliated with the department to help them start employment-oriented projects in 18 identified business sectors.

Who can apply

The applicant must be a Mangal Dal affiliated with the Youth Welfare and PRD Department of Uttarakhand.; The members of Mangal Dal must be permanent residents of Uttarakhand.; The applicant (Mangal Dal) must not have benefited previously under the scheme.
