To encourage flower production, flower planting material (bulbs, plants, and seeds) is provided to cultivators at a 50% subsidy on the total cost, applicable for a maximum area of 4 hectares, as follows: | - For open flowers, planting material worth up to ₹20,000/- per hectare is provided. | - For stalked flowers, planting material worth up to ₹50,000/- per hectare is provided. | - For bulbous flowers, planting material worth up to ₹75,000/- per hectare is provided. | (For example, if 1 kg of marigold seeds costs ₹200/-, the cultivator pays ₹100/- at the Horticulture Mobile team Center, while the government provides a subsidy of ₹100/-, allowing the cultivator to obtain the seeds for ₹100/-.)
