The scheme provides financial assistance towards hostel rent for Scheduled Tribe students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses in government colleges, who are staying in rented accommodation for the purpose of regular studies.

Who can apply

The applicant should be studying regularly a undergraduate or postgraduate course in a government college.; The student should belong to a Scheduled Tribe community residing in the Scheduled Areas of Rajasthan.; The applicant should be a native of Rajasthan.; The applicant should be studying in a government college.; The applicant should not be residing in a government-run hostel.; The applicant's parents/guardian/husband should not be an income tax payer.; The applicant should not have any academic gap (break) after passing the last board examination.; The applicant should possess a valid Bhamashah card and an Aadhaar card.
