The "Medical Assistance" scheme provides financial assistance to Construction Workers hospitalized for five or more days due to an accident or disease. The financial assistance shall be ₹500/- for the first 5 days and ₹50/- each for the remaining days, subject to a maximum of ₹1,5000/-.
