Who can apply

The applicant should be a serving police officer or personnel of CAPFs/CPOs.; The applicant should have a clean service record without major penalties.; The applicant should demonstrate meritorious and consistent service.; The applicant should have a minimum service of 18 years.; The applicant should have ACRs available for the last 10 years.; The applicant should have at least 8 Very Good or above ACRs; at least 1 should be Outstanding.; The applicant should not have any average ACR during the review period.; The applicant should have at least 1 ACR after the Non-Initiation Certificate (NIC) period (if applicable).; The applicant should not have more than 1 missing ACR.; The applicant should ensure the last year ACR is available.; The applicant should be physically fit and fall under SHAPE 1 category; relaxation to SHAPE 2 may be given in exceptional cases.; The applicant should not have more than 3 nominations (for Group A officers).; The applicant should not have adverse vigilance or disciplinary issues.
