Who can apply

The applicant should be a citizen of India.; The applicant should be a permanent resident of Meghalaya.; The applicant should be a Student.; He/ She should belong to Scheduled Casts (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST)/ Other Backward Classes (OBC).; He/ She should be pursuing a regular course of studies in a recognized institution.; The student's guardian/parents should be citizens of India.; He/she should not be receiving financial assistance from the Indian government's Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST students and other government central and state scholarship schemes.; He/she should not be a government/non-government employee.; He/she should not be a repeater in the same class more than once.
