What you get

- Each family is provided with a plot of land measuring 5 gunthas (approximately 500 square meters or about 5,382 square feet). | - This plot of land will include the construction of a 269-square-foot home, forming a cluster of 20 families. | - The project will also cover the essential amenities, including shelter, internal roads, drainage, water supply, electricity, and a community hall (Samaj Mandir) for social activities. | - The entire project aims to improve the living standards of VJNT (Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes) families by offering them stable housing and related amenities. | - The benefit of this scheme is given every year to 3 villages amongst 34 districts (except Mumbai & B. Mumbai) to 20 families. | _The land for the house shall be given under this scheme on the names of the husband and wife jointly. However, in the case of widow and divorcee, land and house shall be given by their name._ | _The land allotted under this scheme is non-transferable, it will not be sold to anyone. The house or land should not be given on rent._

Who can apply

The family of the applicant should be residing in Maharashtra.; The family of the applicant should belong to the original VJNT (Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes) category.; The family of the applicant should not be having their own house.; The family of the applicant should be residing in a tent house or hut.; The family of the applicant should be landless.; The family of the applicant should be residing in one place for at least six months and, for the remaining months, should be wandering from village to village for livelihood.; The annual income of the family of the applicant should be less than ₹1,00,000/-.; The family of the applicant should not have availed of the benefits of any other housing scheme such as Gharkul etc.; The benefit of this scheme will be given to one member only of the eligible family.
