What is Nekar Sanman Yojane ?
It was a financial assistance programme for the state's poor handloom and textile sector workers, whose livelihood was negatively impacted by the pandemic. The state government started the programme and sent money to their bank accounts to protect their interests and help them out in difficult times.

Yes for the year 2023, the registration and application details are yet to be released.

The beneficiaries should have the active bank account and the amount will be credited to the Beneficiaries account directly.

What is the eligibility Criteria ?
1) The beneficiary must be a resident of Karnataka. They must have a valid resident certificate. | 2) All the weavers and financially distressed workers engaged in the handloom/ power loom industry and ancillary activities such as cotton, wool, and silk in the state are eligible. | 3) Prospective beneficiaries must have an active bank account.
