The Social Welfare Department of the Government of Karnataka has launched the Simple Marriage scheme, which offers incentives to couples belonging to the SC community. The scheme aims to promote the idea of simple marriages and provide financial assistance to eligible couples.

Karnataka State Resident: The applicant must be a resident of Karnataka state.; SC Community: The applicant must belong to the SC community.; Family Income: The family income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs per annum.; Time Limit: The scheme is applicable only within 1 year of the marriage.
