Who can apply

The applicant must be a resident of Jharkhand state or must have passed class 10th from a recognized school in Jharkhand for diploma courses or should have passed classes 10th and 12th from recognized schools/colleges in Jharkhand for degree or higher-level courses.1. The applicant should be an orphaned/differently abled student.; The applicant's age should not exceed 40 years as of the application deadline.; Student enrolled in a recognized higher education institution in Jharkhand state or institutions ranked in the top 200 (overall category) or top 100 in discipline-specific categories in NIRF rankings or institutions with NAAC accreditation of 'A' grade or above or Institutes of National Importance or Institutions of Eminence.; The applicant is not enrolled under the AICTE tuition fee waiver and is not a current beneficiary of similar central/state/institution schemes. Existing tuition fee waiver/assistance recipients can only receive benefits from one source.; Defined under Section 2(42) of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.; Valid death certificates of parents and relationship proof verified by the District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO).; Benchmark disability as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.; Valid Unique Disability ID (UDID) card verified by the DSWO in coordination with the Chief Medical Officer.
