The scheme provides awards in the field of mountaineering is in place to enthusiastically engage and inspire the youth of the state towards risky and adventurous activities like summiting, mountaineering and rock climbing and to honour and commend the youth of the state.

What you get

A cash award of ₹25,000/-, a memento, and a certificate will be awarded to each of the adventurers of the state every year for their outstanding achievements in the field of mountaineering.

Who can apply

The applicant must be a native of Gujarat.; The applicant should have climbed a height of 7,000 meters once or a height of more than 6,000 meters twice.; The climbing achievement of the applicant must be confirmed by the Director of the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF).; The applicant should not be involved in any criminal activity.
