Who can apply

Scholarship to the girl children on Passing out the Examination in 2021(2021-22), 2022 (2022-23), 2023 (2023-24), 2024 (2024-25), 2025 (2025-26) - Total 5 Years (2021-26) 15th Finance Commission period.; The scheme will be applicable to the girl children of the workers of Jute Mills and MSME - JDP units engaged in the production of jute products.

Who verifies and forwards the application?

- For Jute Mills: The mill authority verifies and forwards to IJMA- For JDP units/MSMEs: The unit verifies and sends it to JPDEPC or authorized institution

Can a girl student avail this scholarship if she already received a similar benefit from the government?

No, students must submit a declaration stating they haven’t received any similar benefit from any State or Central Government.

How is the scholarship amount paid to the student?

The amount is transferred directly to the girl student’s Aadhar-linked bank account after verification and approval.

What happens if false information is submitted in the application?

In case of false declaration, the scholarship amount will be recovered, and action may be taken against the applicant and the concerned Jute Mill/JDP unit.
