What you get

Who can apply

The student should be a citizen of India.; The student should be pursuing undergraduate/post-graduation from a recognized University/Institution India or Abroad; The student should have just completed undergraduate/post-graduation from a recognized University/Institution, seeking an internship opportunity (within six months from the date of award of degree) for profile enhancement.; The student should possess an aggregate of a minimum of 60% or a CGPA of 6.32 on a scale of 10 at all levels.; The disciplines from which the applications are encouraged are optics, Laser Physics, Space Physics, Geology, Geophysics, Atmospheric Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, Chemistry, Ocean Sciences, and related subjects. - Preference will be given to candidates who are KVPY/DST INSPIRE fellows. - We expect prospective candidates to have reasonably good proficiency in basic physics and mathematics.; The teacher has an academic background in Physics, Applied Physics, Astronomy, Space Physics, Geology, and related fields.; The teacher should have teaching experience minimum of five years at the graduate/postgraduate level.; The teacher should have demonstrated interest in research as evidenced by publications or ongoing projects.; The teacher should have held a PhD degree.

What happens after selection?

Selected candidates will be informed via email and must complete the formalities before starting the project.

Who can apply for the program?

Indian students pursuing or recently graduated from UG/PG programs, and teachers with at least 5 years of experience.

What disciplines are eligible?

Disciplines like Optics, Laser Physics, Space Physics, Geology, Atmospheric Sciences, Chemistry, Ocean Sciences, and related fields.

What is the duration of the internship?

The internship lasts for 45 days.

Is the internship paid?

No, the internship is unpaid. However, limited paid accommodation is available for offline participants.

Can non-Indian nationals apply?

No, only Indian nationals are eligible for this internship.

What is the selection process?

Candidates must first contact a project supervisor, who will inform the Dean's office of the selection. Formal approval will follow.

Can I choose an online project?

The nature of the project will determine if the internship will be conducted online or offline.

Is there accommodation available?

Yes, limited accommodation is available at [?]100 per day, provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Is there any evaluation at the end of the program?

Yes, students must give a final seminar and submit a project report certified by their project guide.

What happens if I miss days during the internship?
