Skill Training | The scheme provides training to candidates in four specific job roles: Geriatric Caregiver (Institutional & Home Care) (480 hours), Elderly Caretaker (Non-Clinical) (360 hours), Elderly Care Companion (450 hours), and Wellness Therapist for Elderly (570 hours). | On-Job Training (OJT) | For job roles as mandated by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training, On-Job Training is provided, with its duration guided by the approved qualification pack. | Assessment and Certification | The skill assessment is conducted by empaneled Assessment Agencies, and a certificate is made available to candidates in physical and digital form, along with corresponding 'credits' as per the National Credit Framework of MSDE. The assessment fee is provided under the scheme. | Re-assessment Opportunity | Every candidate is offered one chance of re-assessment free of cost, to be borne from the scheme. | Placement Support | Apprenticeship is promoted, and training linked to captive placements (training and placement within the same industry) will be encouraged. Trainees are also encouraged to participate in Rozgar Melas for placement, with Training Institutes having tie-ups for proper placement.

The training follows a 100% classroom-based approach where both theoretical and practical sessions are conducted physically at the affiliated Training Centre. Online or remote learning options are not available under this program structure.

Will I receive both physical and digital certificates upon successful completion of the training and assessment?

Yes, upon successful completion, you will receive certificates in both physical and digital formats. Additionally, you will receive corresponding credits as per the National Credit Framework of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
