The Core focus of scheme is to address local development gaps by providing community based infrastructure in key sector, including construction of schools, hostels, health centers, community halls, sanitation facilities, drinking water systems, skill development centers and emerging national priorities - infrastructure in sectors supporting socio-economic growth and digital access.

Who can apply

The projects under PMJVK can be proposed in the identified areas as approved and certified by the SLC (where the minority population is more than 25% of the total population in the catchment area - 15Km radius). | The State Level Committee (SLC) shall consider viability af all the projects before recommending the projects to the Ministry. The proposed projects should be sustainable and clear provision should be made by the State Government/ UT Administration regarding the recurring cost and maintenance / operationalization cost as well as manpower requirement, so that there is no such problem once the infrastructure project has been completed.
