Who can apply

The Agency and its functionaries should be bonafide Indian agencies and Indian Citizens.; Reputed Registered Jute Entrepreneurs/Manufacturers, Exporters, Merchant Traders, NGOs, Cooperative Societies, Federations, PSUs/Organizations of the Central/State Govt. and other firms / Agencies engaged in the Product identification, Bulk Production, Skill Training and Marketing of Jute Diversified Products (JDPs) at least for the last three years; Recognized agencies having at least three years of experience in the Training, Promotion, and Development of WSHGs in the field of production and Marketing of Jute products (JDPs) or similar schemes in the Handloom, Handicrafts, and Textiles sector will be preferred.; The CA/OA should have its own office of at-least 250 sq.ft. with telephone/ mobile connection, computer/ laptop with email facilities etc. for running the Jute Resource-Cum Production Production Center, and at-least 500 sq. ft space for setting up of the Jute Resource- cum Production Centre.

What is the application process for interested agencies?

Applications must be submitted online via the NJB website (https://www.jute.com), followed by the submission of hard copies with required documents to the Head or Regional Office of NJB as per jurisdiction.

What documents are required for the application?

Some key documents include: | - Ownership document (MoU/ AoA of Companies/ Registered Deed of Partnership/ Registration of Societies (or) Trade License, etc., and Adhaar Card / Address Proof of the authorized representative of the agency). | - Income Tax Return for last financial year along with PAN number | - Details of PAN, GST returns for the last 3 financial years | - Annual Reports for last three financial years | - Audited financial statements for last three years | - Any other documents establishing the credential of the agency | - Other supporting documents ( Project experience certificates etc.) | - Recommendation from Dist. Magistrate/Dist. What kind of training will be provided at the JRCPCs?

Training will focus on the design, development, production, and marketing of JDPs. It will include quality training with design inputs, product identification, and promotion strategies for domestic and international markets.

How does the scheme support the marketing of JDPs?

The scheme offers forward linkages by facilitating sales through Jute Retail Outlets, NJB-organized fairs, and exhibitions, and backward linkages by ensuring supply of raw materials through JRMB (Jute Raw Material Bank).
