The objective of the scheme is to reward outstanding sportspersons for their achievements at the global level. It aims to simplify eligibility, improve the award process, motivate athletes to achieve higher, and inspire young people to take up sports.

What you get

For all international events except the Olympics, Paralympics, Asian Games, Para-Asian Games, and Commonwealth Games, cash incentives will be paid based on the number of participating countries. | Amount of IncentiveIn a team event In an individual eventFullThe number of participating countries shall be at least 12 or the maximum permissible number of participants, whichever is lower.The number of participating countries shall be at least 16 or the maximum permissible number of participants, whichever is lower. HalfThe number of participating countries is in the range of 6 to 11.The number of participating countries is in the range of 8 to15.One-thirdThe number of participating countries shall be between 4 and 5.The number of participating countries shall range from 4 to 7. | Note: No cash incentive shall be given if the number of teams in any event is less than 4.
