The Department of Labour & Employment, Government of Himachal Pradesh introduced a scheme of granting Skill Development Allowance to the unemployed youth aims at providing allowance to educated unemployed persons for their Skill upgradation.

💰Allowance shall be payable to each educated unemployed applicant for a maximum period of two years; subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria & timely submission of attested copies of 8th/matriculation marks sheet/certificate to ascertain age and educational qualification and Affidavit as per form ‘C’, at the following rates: | - For Physically Challenged person who have minimum 50% permanent disability recorded in her/his | Employment Exchange record (X-I), @ ₹1,500/- per month. | - For all other categories of Persons :- ₹1000/- (Rs. Institutes listed by the start-up promotion cell and providing courses at pre-fixed rates will be provided following benefits: | a) Internet subsidy (up to ₹ 5,00,000 per year) for two years | b) Power subsidy (up to ₹ 1,00,000 per year) for two years | c) 25% capital investments reimbursement up to ₹ 5,00,000 (on all capital procurement for a period of two years) | d) 10% salary cost subsidy up to ₹ 3,00,000 for a period of two years | - The maximum benefits aggregating all the benefits in this scheme should not exceed ₹ 10,00,000 per year. | - The benefits of this scheme can only be availed by up to 10 institutes per year offering courses under the technical areas/ sectors outlined in Annexure 2. | - Under no circumstance shall the benefits under this scheme be considered an entitlement. The SPC shall reserve the sole right to accept or reject applications. | - The eligibility and disbursement of incentives shall be reviewed at the end of each year based on the performance of the institute. | - The applicant can take the benefit of this scheme only one time in the whole of the policy period for a period of two consecutive years. | - The applicant can avail of the benefits of this scheme quarterly/bi-annually/ annually. | - Once the application is approved by the SPC, the approved amount shall be disbursed within 60 days from the date of approval. | Definitions | For the purpose of this scheme, | ‘capital procurement’ shall mean money spent on the purchase of capital goods such as computer hardware, networking devices, and ICT for the institute. | ‘retail educational institute’ shall mean a learning centre located in Goa listed by the SPC as such for the purpose of Goa Start-up Policy 2017.

"Sneha Sparsha" is a healthcare scheme by the Dept. of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Assam. In this scheme, financial assistance shall be provided for specialized treatment of children below 12 years of age affected with some serious ailments.

💰Permitted procedure and the maximum amount admissible: | Bone Marrow Transplant: Leukemia (Blood Cancer) and other conditions like Thalassemia, in which Bone Marrow Transplant may be considered as a mode of treatment, financial assistance up to ₹ 10,00,000 per case for referral of such cases to 'leading Hospitals outside the state equipped with facilities for such treatment. | Cochlear Implant: The scheme will offer financial assistance of up to ₹ 5,35,000 per case to BPL beneficiaries and ₹ 3,00,000 per case to APL beneficiaries for referral of such cases to a Hospital outside the state, if necessary. | Liver Transplant: The scheme will offer financial assistance of up to ₹ 16,00,000 per case to BPL beneficiaries and ₹ 10,00,000 per case to APL beneficiaries. Necessary arrangements shall be made for referral of such cases to leading Hospitals outside the state with state-of-the-art facilities for such treatment. | Kidney Transplant: The scheme will offer financial assistance of up to ₹ 3,00,000 per case to BPL beneficiaries and ₹ 2,00,000 per case to APL beneficiaries for referral of such cases to Hospitals outside the state, if necessary. | Artificial Limb: The scheme will offer financial assistance of up to ₹ 1,00,000 for Cosmetic Limbs and up to ₹ 2,50,000 if a Motorized Artificial Limb is considered necessary. | Blood Cancer: For treatment of Blood Cancer in children with Chemotherapy, financial assistance of up to ₹ 1,00,000 per case will be given. | Specialized Eye Surgery: like Retinal Surgery or Posterior Segment Procedures, an amount of ₹ 15,000 will be given as assistance. | Tumors: Solid tumors needing costly investigations and treatment with Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy will be given financial assistance of up to ₹ 25,000. Children in need of cancer-related surgery will be given financial assistance of up to ₹ 50,000. | Neurological Anomalies: Hydrocephalus and Spina Bifida will be given assistance up to ₹ 50,000 for investigation, surgical treatment, and rehabilitation. | Thalassemia: Financial assistance of ₹ 1,00,000 will be provided to children suffering from Thalassemia, who are not fit for Bone Marrow Transplant but require specialized treatment like splenectomy, blood transfusion, and associated medicines. | NOTE 1: The rates notified are indicative and the actual admissible amount shall be fixed through a transparent process. | NOTE 2: Out of these, the first five points shall be considered for referral outside the State, and the rest of the procedures (6 to 10) treatment is available in the Medical College Hospitals and other Hospitals inside the state.

The Government of Kerala has launched the “Snehasanthwanam” scheme under the Kerala Social Security Mission. The scheme acts as a relief measure for the Endosulfan victims in the state of Kerala.

💰Under the scheme, financial assistance of ₹2200/- is given to the bedridden Endosulfan victims. | - Financial assistance of ₹1700/- is given to such bedridden Endosulfan victims who are getting ₹300/- per month as a disability pension. | - All other Endosulfan victims are given ₹1200/- based on the list furnished by the District Collector. | - In addition to this, monthly assistance of ₹700/- is given to the caregivers of Endosulfan victims who are fully bedridden or mentally retarded under the special Aswasakiranam scheme. | - Educational assistance will be provided to the Children of Endosulfan affected families as under: | a) Children studying in buds school – ₹ 2000/-. | b) Children studying in Class 1st to 7th – ₹2000/-. | c) Children studying in Class 8th to 10th – ₹3000/-. | d) Children studying in Plus One and Plus Two – ₹4000/-.

💰Financial Assistance provided under this scheme shall be provided by J&K Bank as a start-up loan. | - Assistance under the scheme shall be a minimum ₹2 Lakhs and a maximum of up to ₹20 Lakhs including the interest capitalized during the implementation period shall be provided as assistance. | - There will be no margin money requirement to be paid by the applicant. | - Selected applicants shall only have to repay the principal amount provided to them as assistance by Mission Youth. | - Interest component subject to a maximum of ₹2 Lakh and subject to the condition that the applicant doesn’t make any default in repayment of the principal amount shall be paid by Mission Youth. | - The amount of assistance provided by Mission Youth (MY) has to be compulsorily utilized for the establishment of a Startup only. | - The bank shall extend the loan facility as per their normal assessment procedure.
