💰One-time assistance of up to ₹ 10,00,000/- will be provided to the state for strengthening of existing cattle and buffalo semen bank to store and distribute goat frozen semen. | - The assistance will be provided for procurement of equipment like cryo-container and other related equipment.

The Scheme aims to enhance per-animal productivity, reduce inbreeding, and minimize sexually transmitted diseases in pigs. Through this scheme, financial assistance is provided for establishing semen processing labs at government pig farms.

💰Assistance will be provided to establish semen processing lab at the government pig farm to produce high quality liquid boar semen for artificial insemination. | - One-time grants-in-aid of up to ₹1,50,00,000/- (₹1.5 crore) are provided as the Central share to the concerned state for the construction of semen laboratories and maintaining a breeding boar unit. | - ₹30,00,000 (₹30 lakh) is provided as a one-time recurring expenditure for the procurement of consumables, medicines, chemicals, and other necessary materials for the initial processing of semen. | Funding Pattern: | - For all states except the North Eastern Region (NER) and Himalayan states, the funding pattern is 60:40 (Central: State). | - For NER and Himalayan states, the funding pattern is 90:10 (Central: State). | Mode of Disbursement: | - The funds are provided as a one-time grant to the concerned state government through its Animal Husbandry Department. | Frequency of Disbursement: | - One-time disbursement. | Validity: | - The financial assistance is granted for the establishment of the laboratory and the first-time procurement of necessary materials.

💰Pattern of Assistance: | - One time assistance will be provided to the state for import of pig exotic germplasm in the form of live animals on cost sharing basis 60:40 for all States except NER & Himalayan States where it will be 90:10.

The scheme aims to promote entrepreneurship in pig farming by providing a one-time capital subsidy of up to ₹30 lakh to eligible entrepreneurs and organizations to establish breeder farms.

💰Capital Subsidy: | - A one-time capital subsidy of 50% of the total project cost, up to ₹30 lakh, will be provided for infrastructure, breeding animals, transportation, insurance, and equipment/machines. | Note 1: No subsidy will be provided for land purchase, rent, lease cost, working capital, or personal vehicles. | Note 2: The funding will be provided for the cost of housing, breeding animals along with transportation & insurance cost, equipment /machines. | - Mode of Disbursement: | - The subsidy will be provided in two equal instalments by SIDBI to the scheduled bank or financial institution. | - The first installment (50% of the subsidy) will be released after the financial institution releases the first loan installment and confirms the same with the State Implementing Agency. | - The second instalment (the remaining 50% of the subsidy) will be released after project completion, subject to verification by the State Implementing Agency. | - Disbursement in Self-Financed Mode: | - For self-financed projects, the first installment will be disbursed when the entrepreneur has spent 25% of the project cost on infrastructure and the expenditure has been verified by the State Implementing Agency. | - The second installment will be provided after the project is completed and verified by the State Implementing Agency. | - Bank Guarantee Requirement for Self-Financing Mode | - The entrepreneur must provide a Bank Guarantee valid for three years for the remaining project cost beyond the subsidy amount. | - The Bank Guarantee should be in favor of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying.

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students of economically weaker sections to arrest their drop out at class VIII and encourage them to continue their education at secondary stage.

National Mission on Natural Farming

To motivate farmers to adopt chemical free farming and enhance the reach of natural farming, the Government has formulated National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF) as a separate and independent scheme from 2023-24 by up scaling the Bhartiya Prakritik Krishi Paddati (BPKP).

💰• Farmers practicing Natural Farming reported similar yields to those following conventional farming. In several cases, higher yields per harvest were also reported. | • As Natural Farming does not use any synthetic chemicals, health risks and hazards are eliminated. The food has higher nutrition density and therefore offers better health benefits. | • Natural Farming ensures better soil biology, improved agrobiodiversity and a more judicious usage of water with much smaller carbon and nitrogen footprints. | • Natural Farming aims to make farming viable and aspirational by increasing net incomes of farmers on account of cost reduction, reduced risks, similar yields, incomes from intercropping. | • By working with diverse crops that help each other and cover the soil to prevent unnecessary water loss through evaporation, Natural Farming optimizes the amount of ‘crop per drop’.

National Pension Scheme For Traders And Self Employed Persons

A voluntary and contributory pension scheme by the Ministry of Labour and Employment. This scheme is meant for old age protection and social security of Small Scale Traders and Retailers. The beneficiary would receive a minimum assured pension of ₹ 3000/- per month after attaining the age of 60 yrs.

💰Benefits to the family on the death of an eligible beneficiary: | - During the receipt of a pension, if an eligible beneficiary dies, his spouse shall be only entitled to receive fifty percent of the pension received by such eligible beneficiary, as a family pension, and such family pension shall be applicable only to the spouse. | Benefits on disablement: | - If an eligible beneficiary has given regular contributions and become permanently disabled due to any cause before attaining his age of 60 years, and is unable to continue to contribute under this Scheme, his spouse shall be entitled to continue with the Scheme subsequently by payment of regular contribution as applicable or exit the Scheme by receiving the share of contribution deposited by the such beneficiary, with interest as actually earned thereon by the Pension Fund or the interest at the savings bank interest rate thereon, whichever is higher. | Benefits on Leaving the Pension Scheme: | - In case an eligible beneficiary exits this Scheme within a period of less than ten years from the date of joining the Scheme by him, then the share of contribution by him only will be returned to him with savings bank rate of interest payable thereon. | - If an eligible beneficiary exits after completion of a period of ten years or more from the date of joining the Scheme by him but before his age of sixty years, then his share of contribution only shall be returned to him along with accumulated interest thereon as actually earned by the Pension Fund or the interest at the savings bank interest rate thereon, whichever is higher. | - If an eligible beneficiary has given regular contributions and died due to any cause, his spouse shall be entitled to continue with the Scheme subsequently by payment of regular contribution as applicable or exit by receiving the share of contribution paid by such beneficiary along with accumulated interest, as actually earned thereon by the Pension Fund or at the savings bank interest rate thereon, whichever is higher | - After the death of the beneficiary and his or her spouse, the corpus shall be credited back to the fund.

The “National Post Doctoral Fellowship (N-PDF)” was launched by the Science and Engineering Research Board, Government of India to identify motivated young researchers and provide them support for doing research in frontier areas of science and engineering.

Through this scheme, fellowships will be provided for pursuing higher studies/ advanced research in renewable energy. The fellowship scheme is directly aligned with the overall requirement of renewable energy, research thrust areas identified by MNRE.

💰M.Tech. Fellowship: A monthly stipend of ₹12,400/- is provided for a duration of 20 to 24 months, depending on specific institute norms. 1. M.Sc. (Renewable Energy) Fellowship: Students receive a monthly stipend of ₹4,000/- for a maximum duration of 24 months. 1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Provides a monthly fellowship of ₹31,000/- plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per Central Government norms, along with an annual contingency grant of ₹20,000/- for a period of 2 years. 1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Provides a monthly fellowship of ₹35,000/- plus HRA and Contingency as per Central Government norms for a duration of 3 years. 1. Post-Doctoral Fellow/Research Associate (PDF/RA): Offers a tiered monthly fellowship of ₹47,000/- (Level I), ₹49,000/- (Level II), and ₹54,000/- (Level III) plus HRA and Contingency as per Central Government norms for a period of 3 years. 1. Total Intake Capacity: The scheme supports an annual intake of 75 new fellows, aiming for a total of 375 fellowships over the five-year programme period (2021-2026). 1. Integrated PhD Path: JRF awardees can transition into SRF roles for a combined doctoral research tenure not exceeding 5 years (2 years JRF + 3 years SRF). 1. Direct PhD Path: The scheme allows a direct route for candidates to enter at the SRF level for a PhD program not exceeding 3 years. 1. Post-Doctoral Research: Specialised support for 3-year advanced research projects at the Research Associate/PDF level. 1. Flexible Allocation: The number of fellowships in each category (M.Tech, M.Sc, JRF, SRF, RA) is interchangeable based on the quality of research proposals and industry demand. 1. Monthly Disbursement: All fellowships are disbursed on a monthly basis directly into the beneficiary's bank account via DBT mode upon receipt of attendance/continuation reports from host institutions.

The National Scheme of Incentive to Girls for Secondary Education promotes the girl child's enrolment of 14-18 years age group at secondary stage, who passes class 8th and subsequently drops out for various socio-economic reasons.

💰A sum of ₹3000/- (Rupees three thousand only) would be deposited under term deposit/ fixed deposit in a public sector bank or in a post office in the name of every eligible girl child. The term/ period of the deposit may be counted from the date of deposit to the date on which the girl child attains the age of 18 years. No premature withdrawal will be allowed.

The “National Solar Science Fellowship Programme” of the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy was launched in February 2011. The aim of the National Solar Science Fellowship Programme is to provide a platform to top-quality scientists and engineers in the area of solar energy research.

💰Each selected Fellow will receive a total annual grant of up to ₹32.00 lakhs comprising (i) emolument of up to ₹12.00 lakhs (ii) contingencies of up to ₹5.00 lakhs and (iii) research grant of up to ₹15.00 lakhs. This will be pro-rated for the duration of the tenure of the particular Fellow. | - This grant will be released to the host institution for being granted to the Fellow. | - The Fellow may also raise additional resources from other sources such as the host Institution, grant providers, grant-in-aid Institutions, etc. for the purpose of carrying out his/her research. | Note 01: On selection, the Fellow will be attached to one of the selected schools/institutions in consultation with the Fellow as well as the host institution. | Note 02: Selected Fellows shall commit to work at the host institution for the full tenure of the fellowship and shall submit a bond in this regard to the host institution. | Note 03: The Fellow must submit quarterly progress reports and a final technical report to the Fellowship Management Committee. The Fellowship Management Committee may from time to time, seek updates from the Fellow and provide inputs and guidance to the project of the Fellows so that the project remains relevant to the Government of India agenda and can be successfully completed on time. | Note 04: An annual conference of the Fellows will be held, where the Fellows will be expected to present their findings to the Fellowship Management Committee and other invitees and share knowledge and learning and discuss areas for further collaboration and practical application of their research. | Note 05: There would be a visible improvement in the quality of solar technology through the application of innovative solutions/technologies in the field arising out of the research under the programme. | Note 06: The resources in terms of manpower and infrastructural facilities available at various schools/ institutions of the country would be enhanced /strengthened.
