Other Important points:- | - In case the number of applications of female candidates is less than 225, the remaining vacant slots will be adjusted with ST's other categories. | - The guidelines provide that the student is eligible for a scholarship for regular and full-time M. Phil/Ph.D in the University/Academic Institute. | - However, for pursuing Ph.D. courses in AIIMS/IIMs/IITs/IISERs, where the pre-requisite may be that the students should have financial security in hand before he/she can take admission, preference will be given to those students who have secured offers of admission from AIIMS/IITs/IIMs/IISERs. | Therefore, the student should mention, in the application form, that he/she has got an offer of admission and should also upload the offer letter issued. | F. Number of Scholarships: | - All eligible students who have taken admitted on merit to the identified premier institutes, and are verified by the Institute and Ministry as per the norms of the scheme are eligible to receive scholarships. | - There is no Institute- wise/ State wise/stream-wise ceiling for a number of slots. | - However, students admitted to Management quota in a private Institute will not be entitled to scholarships.

💰Financial Assistance and Funding Pattern for the Implementing Agencies: | - For Urban Haat: ₹8,00,00,000/- per unit. - Funding Split: 40% by O/o DC(HC) and DC(HL) each; 20% by the implementing agency. - Land Contribution: Provided by the implementing agency, in addition to the 20% contribution. - Special Areas (NER, J&K, Ladakh, A&N Islands, Lakshadweep): 45% by O/o DC(HC) and DC(HL) each; 10% by the implementing agency. - Renovation Assistance: Up to ₹2,50,00,000/- with 100% borne by O/o DC(Handicrafts) & DC(Handlooms). | NOTE 1: Assistance will also be given for Mini Urban Haats on need-based and feasibility. The scheme targets the children of these weavers, offering financial assistance of up to ₹2,00,000/- annually. This support covers tuition, admission, and examination fees at recognised textile institutions. Additionally, beneficiaries receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000/-.

💰Financial Coverage: The scholarship covers tuition fees, admission fees, examination fees, and other annual fees/charges as required by the academic institution.1. Stipend: In addition to the academic fees, eligible candidates will receive a stipend of ₹5,000/- per month, subject to a maximum of ₹2,00,000/- per child per annum or actuals, whichever is less.1. Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT): Funds will be directly transferred to the bank account of the concerned handloom weaver/worker or their children through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. | Payment Schedule | - The scholarship for the first year will be disbursed after the admission of the ward of handloom weavers/workers. | - Subsequent years' scholarships will be paid upon submission of the proposal, along with a copy of the mark sheet for the annual exam, and admission proof for the next academic session from the relevant institution.

National Handloom Development Programme: Concessional Credit/Weaver MUDRA Scheme

The scheme aims to provide adequate and timely assistance from the banks to the handloom sector to meet their credit requirements for term loan & working capital in a flexible and cost effective manner across the country.

💰Margin Money Assistance: | - Individual Handloom Weaver/Weaver Entrepreneur- Margin Money assistance @20% of the loan amount, subject to a maximum of ₹25,000/-. | - Handloom organization - Margin money assistance @20% of the loan amount, subject to a maximum of ₹20.00 lakh (margin money @₹2.00 lakhs for every 100 weaver/worker). Additional margin money requirement, if any as per banking norms will be borne by the beneficiary Agency. | - Margin money assistance to Primary Handloom Weavers’ Co-operative Societies/Apex Handloom Weavers’ Co-operative Societies/State Handloom Corporations will be provided on the recommendation of the State Director of Handlooms. | Interest Subvention: | - Subsidized loans at a concessional interest rate of 6% for a period of three years will be available to eligible handloom organizations only. However, this is subject to interest subvention cap only upto 7% by the GoI. | - Interest subvention as applicable will be provided a maximum of 3 years from the date of the first disbursal. | Credit Guarantee: | - The loans extended to the eligible handloom organizations will be guaranteed by the National Credit Guarantee Trustee Company (NCGTC)/Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro & Small Enterprises (CGTMSE), as per the decision of the Bank/Financial Institution concerned. Guarantee cover will be effective from the date of disbursement of the loan for 3 years. | - If the loan amount sanctioned is ₹1.00 crore, the handloom organization is eligible for getting maximum margin money assistance of ₹20.00 lakhs (margin money @₹2.00 lakhs for every handloom weaver/worker). Therefore, a credit guarantee would be covered on the loan amount disbursed upto ₹1.00 Crore. | - The credit guarantee fee on the loan amount disbursed would be borne by GoI for a period of 3 years. | Note 01: Under the scheme, the loans will be provided to all eligible handloom beneficiaries for 3 years. | Note 02: Individual handloom weavers who have availed loans upto the issuance date of guidelines will be eligible for getting benefits of interest subsidy and credit guarantee fee upto 3 years from the date of first disbursal of the loan amount. These benefits will be discontinued thereafter for sanctioning fresh loans to individual weavers. | Note 03: Loans extended by banks up to ₹10.00 lakhs will be covered under MUDRA and loans above ₹10.00 lakhs will be covered under Concessional Credit. | Note 04: Margin money assistance to Handloom Organization will be provided on a pro-rata basis. The lower side of margin money assistance i.e. @₹2.00 lakhs for every 100 weavers/workers or @20% of the loan amount sanctioned subject to a maximum of ₹20.00 lakhs, whichever is less will be considered. | Note 05: Margin money assistance will be transferred directly to the loan account of Handloom Organization while interest subsidy and credit guarantee fee will be transferred to the concerned bank.

National Livestock Mission: Establishment of Entrepreneurship for Breed Development of Rural Poultry

The scheme aims to promote entrepreneurship in rural poultry farming. Through this scheme, a 50% capital subsidy is provided for establishing Parent Farms, Rural Hatcheries, and Brooder cum Mother Units.

💰Financial Assistance: | - One Time 50% capital subsidy of the total project cost will be provided with maximum subsidy up to ₹25 lakhs for each unit. | Note 1: The Central Government will provide 50% capital subsidy for the cost of the project for establishment of Parent Farm, Rural hatchery and Mother Unit with minimum 1000 parent layers. | Note 2: Subsidy will be the capital subsidy and provided in two equal instalments. First instalment will be released upfront to the scheduled bank or financial institutions like NCDC etc. by SIDBI to be credited to the Entrepreneur/ Eligible Entities’ account after the bank or financial institution releases First Instalment of loan to the beneficiary and its confirmation by State Implementing Agency. | Note 3: Beneficiaries will be eligible for release of the second instalment by SIDBI after completion of the project and certified so by the State Implementing Agency. | Note 4: In case of the self-financing project, the project needs to be appraised by the bank where the Entrepreneurs/Eligible Entity have account. The first instalment of 50% subsidy will be provided into the lending bank by SIDBI where the beneficiary has account. The subsidy will be released only when the beneficiary has made expenditure of 25% cost for the project towards infrastructure and has been verified by the State Implementing Agency. | Note 5: Remaining amount of 50% subsidy will be provided y SIDBI after completion of the project and verified by State Implementing Agency. | Note 6: The Entrepreneurs / Eligible Entities interested in taking benefit under the entrepreneurship project in self-financing mode, need to provide Bank Guarantee from the scheduled bank valid for three years for the remaining cost of the project beyond the cost of subsidy sought for support. This Bank Guarantee shall be provided in the name of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying. | Note 7: The Entrepreneurs / Eligible Entities need to arrange the remaining amount through bank loan or from the financial institution or self-financing.
