Amma Two Wheeler Scheme for Working Women

The Amma Two-wheeler is a scheme that will empower working women in Tamil Nadu State.

💰The reservation under the Amma two-wheeler scheme is as follows: | - 21% of the scheme's allocation is reserved for women belonging to Scheduled Castes. | - 1% of the scheme’s allocation is reserved for women belonging to Scheduled Tribes. | - 4% of the scheme’s allocation is reserved for differently abled women (across all categories). | Subsidy: A beneficiary under this scheme will be provided with a maximum subsidy of 50% of the cost of the vehicle or ₹25,000/- whichever is less, to purchase a brand new motorized gearless / auto-geared two-wheeler whose engine capacity should not exceed 125cc. The balance cost, over and above the subsidy amount, has to be borne by the beneficiary through a bank/institutional loan or her funds. | Loan Facilities: The beneficiary can buy the vehicle of her choice from her funds or by availing loans from Banks/Non-Banking Finance Companies (NBFCs) governed by the rules of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Reimbursement of subsidy to the beneficiary will be permitted in case the vehicle is purchased from her funds, subject to the fulfillment of the other conditions specified for eligibility

Financial Assistance To Institutions/Societies Belonging To Scheduled Castes/Backward Classes

The scheme “Financial Assistance to Institutions/Societies Belonging to Scheduled Castes/Backward Classes” was launched by the Department of Welfare of Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes, Government of Haryana.

💰Financial Assistance up to ₹2.00 lakhs may be sanctioned by the Minister in charge, Welfare of Scheduled Castes/Backward Classes. | - The Chief Minister may sanction grants exceeding ₹2.00 lakhs in genuine cases. | - In deserving cases, additional funds can also be sanctioned later on for construction/completion/ repair/ renovation of the infrastructure or for providing basic amenities in the building, or for any other purpose. | Note 01: Financial Assistance will be sanctioned only for the work to be executed within Haryana State. | Note 02: The grant will be utilized for the purpose for which it is sanctioned and not for any other purpose within one year of the date of receipt of the grant. Unspent balance, if any, should have to be returned to the competent authority. In case of default, the amount will be recovered as arrears of land revenue. | Note 03: The institutions shall incur the expenditure out of this grant in the most economical manner. | Note 04: Any institution/society found guilty of non-fulfillment of the conditions shall be debarred from being considered for release of Government grant for a minimum period of three years or more as may be decided by the competent authority.

The scheme “Grant of Fuel Subsidy to Differently Abled Persons Who Are Owning Motorised Vehicles” by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Puducherry was introduced to provide a subsidy of upto 50 % of the cost of fuel to persons with disability who own motorised vehicles.

💰50 % of the cost of fuel subject to a maximum of 15 litres for vehicles of less than 2 Horsepower. | - 50 % of the cost of fuel subject to a maximum of 25 litres for vehicles of equal to or more than 2 Horsepower.

💰Gratuity Assistance in Case of Death | - A one-time gratuity assistance of ₹2,000 is provided for funeral and last rites. | - The assistance is payable in case of accidental death of the registered driver or conductor and the family members. . | Mode of Disbursement | - The assistance amount is disbursed immediately by the local body. | - The local body later claims reimbursement from the Social Justice Department.

Motor Vehicle Driver-Conductor Welfare Scheme- Marriage Assistance

The scheme aims to provide monetary support for the marriage of daughters of registered drivers and conductors.

💰Financial assistance for the marriage of daughters of registered transport vehicle drivers or conductors. | - Assistance is provided as per the prevailing rates and conditions of the "Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana". | - Under this scheme, the following assistance is provided: | - Each eligible bride (including girls, widows, or abandoned women) participating in the mass marriage ceremony will receive a total of ₹49,000/- through an Account Payee Cheque, on the day of the mass marriage ceremony.The organizing body that conducts the mass marriage ceremony will receive ₹6,000/- per beneficiary. | NOTE: | - A total of ₹55,000/- is provided per beneficiary under the scheme. | - The monetary amount is as notified by the Social Justice Department under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana and may change from time to time.

Mukhyamantri Yuva Annadoot Yojana

The scheme aims to provide employment opportunities to unemployed youth/women for 7 years by involving them in the transport of food grains from Madhya Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation centers to fair price shops. Benefits include an interest subsidy/grant.

💰Interest Subsidy/Grant: A 3% interest subsidy/grant is provided for 7 years.- CGTMSE Fee Refund: A maximum refund of the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises fee of up to ₹1,25,000/- is provided.- Maximum Vehicle Cost Covered: The scheme supports the purchase of vehicles with an approximate cost of up to ₹25,00,000/-.- Payment for Transportation: Payment for the transportation of food grains and handling expenses is provided as per the fixed rate for the sector. | Disbursement | - Mode of Payment: The payment for transportation of food grains and handling expenses for the sector will be paid directly into the bank account of the beneficiary monthly by the Madhya Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation.- Penalty Provision: If the food grain is not transported on time to the designated fair price shop, 33% of the total monthly transport rent/fare on the concerned fair price shop may be deducted from the beneficiary's transport rent/fare. This penalty deduction will only occur after a hearing has been granted by the designated Supply Officer/Collector. | Conditions | - The beneficiary must ensure the purchase of a vehicle within the capacity range of 7.5 Metric Tons (+/- 10%). | - The beneficiary must utilize the vehicle for lifting and transporting allocated food grains from the Madhya Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation center to the fair price shops for 7 years. | - The beneficiary must obtain a bank loan, as the Central Bank of India is designated to provide the loan for vehicle purchase.

Scheme of Assistance for the Prevention of Alcoholism & Substance (Drugs) Abuse and for Social Defence Services: General Grant-in-Aid Programme for Financial Assistance in the Field of Social Defence

The scheme aims to meet needs falling within the mandate of the Ministry which cannot be met under its regular schemes and support such initiatives of an innovative/pilot nature in the area of welfare and empowerment of the Ministry’s target groups, as cannot be supported under its regular schemes.

💰Items Admissible for Assistance | - Construction of a building or extension of existing buildings, or rent of the building where the service is provided (staff quarters are excluded, except in the case of wardens, chowkidar, etc.). | - Salaries and allowances of staff; minimal administration support can also be considered. | - Cost of equipment, furniture, etc. | - Charges related to the delivery of the service (education, training, food, etc.). | - Stipends, etc., in the case of trainees. | - Other charges as may be necessary for the proper operation of the program. | Norms of Financial Assistance | - Financial assistance will be provided up to 90% of the approved cost, covering both recurring and non-recurring expenditures. | - The remaining 10% of the cost should be covered by the voluntary agency or any other organization, with a preference for the voluntary organization itself. | - In cases where an organization operates in a relatively new area where both voluntary and government efforts are limited but the demand for the service is substantial, the government may cover 100% of the cost. | - Building Grant Limitation: In the case of building grants, the government grant will be limited to ₹10,00,000. | - Non-Recurring Grant-in-Aid Ceiling: Regarding non-recurring grant-in-aid under the scheme, a ceiling of ₹10,00,000 per annum per project shall be applicable. | Benefits for Staff | Expenditure on Staff | - Project Director: ₹8,400 per month | - Social Worker: ₹4,200 per month | - Doctor (part-time): ₹6,000 per month | - Compounder/Nurse: ₹3,000 per month | - Vocational Trainer: ₹4,200 per month | - Driver: ₹1,800 per month | - Peon/Sweeper/Watchman etc.: ₹2,000 per month | Maintenance of Beneficiaries | - Diet Charges (Per Person per month): ₹600 | - Bedding material (Per person): ₹600 (non-recurring) | - Uniform/Clothing (per person per annum) : ₹1,000 | - Washing charges (per person per month): ₹150 | - Books & Stationery (per person per annum): ₹400 | - Water & Electricity charges (Per annum): ₹6,000

💰Eligible BPL families receive a total subsidy of ₹25,000/-, comprising ₹10,000/- from DRDA under the Swarnajayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY) and an additional ₹15,000/- from the Directorate of Social Welfare. | - Non-BPL tribal families (with income < ₹1,20,000/- per annum) receive a subsidy of ₹15,000/- from the Directorate of Social Welfare only. | - The subsidy is a one-time financial assistance for purchasing a motorcycle (used for livelihood activities such as transport or pilot service). | - Approximately 200 beneficiaries are targeted each financial year under this component. | _The beneficiary must utilise the motorcycle exclusively for livelihood purposes._ | _Assistance is extended only once per eligible household._ | _*In case of misutilisation or non-compliance, the Government may withdraw or recall the benefit._
