The "Scheme for Enhancement of Technical Competence and Manpower" under the Gujarat Industrial Policy aims to bridge the industry’s skill gap, boost employment, and align workforce training with evolving technology and business needs.

💰Financial Assistance: 100% reimbursement of course fees, up to ₹10,000/- per trainee. - Skill Enhancement: Employees receive skill upgradation, improving efficiency and productivity. - Recognized Training: Programs are conducted by institutions approved by Anchor Institutes, MES, NCVT, GCVT, and Sector Skill Councils. - Third-Party Assessment: Ensures quality training through post-course skill assessment. | > Additional Assistance: | - Awareness Programs & Seminars: A maximum support of ₹1,00,000/- per training center per year will be provided for awareness programs and seminars. | - Other Expenditures: SLEC/IC/CED can approve the expenditure on any study, renovation/refurbishing of existing skill centers/institute, remuneration to third party evaluation of scheme, monitoring/audit expenses, assessment agency, etc. | - Trainee Transportation Reimbursement: Trainees who complete skill upgradation training under any scheme will be eligible for reimbursement of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) bus passes for travel between their residence and training center as per the following rates: | - For BPL candidates, Physically Handicapped, SC, ST, SEBC, and Women: 100% 1. For Other candidates: 75%

The "Sikhligar’s Community Development Scheme" aims to promote economic self-reliance among the Sikhligara community, the Corporation will provide a subsidy and a subsidy of 33% of the vehicle cost for purchasing goods tempos, or vehicles to economically backward of Karnataka state.

💰Financial Assistance: The scheme offers a loan of ₹50,000/- and a subsidy of ₹50,000/- for business ventures. For purchasing goods tempos or vehicles, a subsidy of 33% of the vehicle cost, up to a maximum of ₹1,50,000/-, is provided. | - Subsidy for Self-Employment Loans: A 33% subsidy, up to a maximum of ₹1,00,000/-, is available for those taking loans from banks or financial institutions for self-employment purposes.

Through the “Skill Development Fee Reimbursement Scheme”, the SPC will reimburse 50% of the fees up to ₹ 50,000/- to the students who have successfully completed an SPC-approved technical skill training program in any of the approved domains from a Goan educational institute.

💰Reimbursement of 50% of the fees up to ₹ 50,000/- to the students who have successfully completed an SPC-approved technical skill training program in any of the "approved domains", attended in a Goan educational institute:1. Up to 1000 students per year can avail the benefits of this scheme. However, this cap can be reviewed and revised based on the need in future. | - A student can avail the benefits of this scheme for any two courses in a year. | NOTE: Under no circumstance shall the benefits under this scheme be considered an entitlement. The SPC shall reserve the sole right to accept or reject applications.

Through the “Skill Development Promotion Scheme”, the retail educational institutes that impart programming and technical skills are encouraged to establish learning centres in Goa. Institutes listed by the startup promotion cell and providing courses at pre-fixed rates will be provided subsidies.

💰The retail educational institutes that impart programming and technical skills will be encouraged to establish learning centres in Goa. Institutes listed by the start-up promotion cell and providing courses at pre-fixed rates will be provided following benefits: | a) Internet subsidy (up to ₹ 5,00,000 per year) for two years | b) Power subsidy (up to ₹ 1,00,000 per year) for two years | c) 25% capital investments reimbursement up to ₹ 5,00,000 (on all capital procurement for a period of two years) | d) 10% salary cost subsidy up to ₹ 3,00,000 for a period of two years | - The maximum benefits aggregating all the benefits in this scheme should not exceed ₹ 10,00,000 per year. | - The benefits of this scheme can only be availed by up to 10 institutes per year offering courses under the technical areas/ sectors outlined in Annexure 2. | - Under no circumstance shall the benefits under this scheme be considered an entitlement. The SPC shall reserve the sole right to accept or reject applications. | - The eligibility and disbursement of incentives shall be reviewed at the end of each year based on the performance of the institute. | - The applicant can take the benefit of this scheme only one time in the whole of the policy period for a period of two consecutive years. | - The applicant can avail of the benefits of this scheme quarterly/bi-annually/ annually. | - Once the application is approved by the SPC, the approved amount shall be disbursed within 60 days from the date of approval. | Definitions | For the purpose of this scheme, | ‘capital procurement’ shall mean money spent on the purchase of capital goods such as computer hardware, networking devices, and ICT for the institute. | ‘retail educational institute’ shall mean a learning centre located in Goa listed by the SPC as such for the purpose of Goa Start-up Policy 2017.

The Goa State Incentives to Encourage Investments Scheme

The scheme aims to create sustainable employment, accelerate investment, and support environmentally sustainable industrial development in Goa. It provides financial assistance and incentives under separate target schemes to new and existing Micro, Small, Medium, and Large manufacturing units.

💰Financial Assistance for New/Non-Availing Units | - The maximum cumulative Financial benefit under schemes to all industries shall be 50% of the Cumulative Capital investment at original value in the unit. | - This is increased to 70% of the Cumulative Capital investment at original value in the unit in case of lesser developed talukas. | Financial Assistance for Substantial Expansion | - For units defined under clause (c) iv of eligibility criteria (Substantial Expansion) in the scheme guidelines, the benefit is 50% of the Substantial Expansion investment.- This is increased to 70% of the Substantial Expansion investment in case of lesser developed talukas. | Additional Benefit for Specific Entrepreneurs | - A maximum of 10% additional benefit is provided to all women and Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) entrepreneurs.

The scheme objective is to provide financial assistance to transgender individuals for self-employment/business establishment. Eligible beneficiaries can receive up to ₹50,000/- or 25% of the project cost.

💰Financial Assistance: 25% of the total business cost or ₹50,000/- (whichever is lower) for self-employment/business establishment.- Loan Support: The beneficiary must secure a loan from a nationalized/cooperative bank to avail of the grant.- One-Time Benefit: The assistance is available only once per individual. | Note: The grant is disbursed only after the beneficiary starts the business and gets it verified by the lending agency.

The scheme aims to attract tourists with better quality mechanized Tea and Coffee shops and tender coconut water parlors, as Goa is a tourist destination, ensuring better hygiene than other restaurants. The scheme provides entire project financing for establishing a parlor.

💰Provision of the entire project financing for establishing a Tea/Coffee and Coconut Parlor, with a project cost of about ₹25,000/- to ₹30,000/-. | - The beneficiary will be rewarded with the entire amount deposited if they successfully deposit the aforesaid amount. | Conditions | _The beneficiary has to deposit 50% of the total project cost to the Department._ | _The deposit must be paid in 36 installments._ | _The required deposit must be completed within a period of three years._ | _If the beneficiary fails to deposit the amount or installments in time for three consecutive months or defaults for more than 3 times, their right to ownership will be suspended until the entire amount is paid._ | _*If the beneficiary fails to repay the amount for six months, the same will be forfeited in favor of the Government._
