Vegetable Area Expansion

The scheme aims to promote and expand vegetable cultivation across the state by providing seasonal vegetable seeds to farmers at a 50% subsidy.

💰To promote vegetable production, seasonal vegetable seeds are provided to farmers at a 50% subsidy. Farmers are required to apply approximately two months before planting seasonal vegetables. | - For example, if a packet of bottle gourd seeds costs ₹200/-, the farmer pays ₹100/- at the concerned Horticulture Mobile team Centre, while the government bears the remaining ₹100/- as a subsidy, allowing the farmer to receive the seeds for ₹100/-.

The objective of the scheme is to promote vegetable production through HYV Seeds/ Hybrids/ Improved/ Open Pollinated seedlings, including assistance to farmers.

Very Dense Apple Plantation Scheme

The scheme aims to promote intensive apple cultivation among farmers by establishing modern orchards with high-yielding varieties and providing financial assistance through a 60% subsidy on saplings, thereby enhancing productivity and increasing farmers’ income.

💰Under this scheme, farmers will be provided with a 60% subsidy for establishing orchards of the latest apple varieties. The subsidy is structured as follows: 900 saplings per acre (₹12.36 lakh) for M-9, 540 saplings per acre (₹7.86 lakh) for MM-111, and 440 saplings per acre (₹3.34 lakh) for seedlings. | The subsidy will be calculated on a pro-rata basis according to the number of very dense apple orchards and saplings actually established by the applicant.

💰Compensation for Damaged Nets | Fishermen are paid compensation not exceeding ₹25,000/- (twenty-five thousand rupees) in lieu of nets that are damaged or cut during rescue operations involving trapped Whale Sharks. | Conditions for Benefit Availment/Disbursement | - The rescue operation must be documented through videography or photography for compensation to be paid. | - The fishermen must take photographs of trapped Whale Sharks, release them on the spot, and then submit this information and photographs after returning to the coast to receive their compensation.

Zero Budget Natural Farming

The Rajasthan State government started a scheme "Zero Budget Natual Farming" in 2020-21 to promote natural farming.

💰A subsidy of 50% provides to farmers to buy the farming items. | - A large drum of 200 litres, a small drum of 50 litres capacity, a bucket of 20 litres capacity, a Jug, filter, water spray, sprayer, Trichoderma, cow-urine, dung, etc. Material and organic mulch material like leaves of trees, weed bedding, leaves of millet-sorghum, etc., groundnut peels, and in the field for moisture conservation between the rows, 50% of the total cost of available other waste material or a maximum of Rs.600/- per farmer will be given as subsidy by DBT. | - Training and Farmers Tours. | - Gram Panchayat level Training.
