The scheme "Fishing Ban Period Assistance" under "Welfare and Relief for Fishermen During Lean Seasons and Natural Calamities Scheme" is introduced with the objective of assisting fishermen families who are deprived of income during natural calamities and fishing ban periods.

💰100 kgs. of rice and a cash dole at ₹ 750/- per fishermen's family during the period of ban on fishing during the year.

The scheme "Immediate Death Relief Assistance" is introduced with the objective of extending financial assistance to the fishermen's families to compensate for the loss due to the sudden demise of the breadwinner and to support them financially to run their family.

💰₹ 1,00,000 as immediate death relief assistance for the family (legal heir) of the deceased fisherman, received within 15 days to 3 months from the date of receipt of the application from the affected family.

The scheme "Immediate Relief Assistance" under "Welfare and Relief for Fishermen During Lean Seasons and Natural Calamities Scheme" is introduced to extend financial assistance to the fishermen's families to compensate for the loss due to the missing breadwinner and to support them financially.

💰₹ 1,00,000, in two installments of ₹ 50,000 each, as immediate relief assistance for the family (legal heir) of the missing fisherman. | Disbursal | - Initially, 50% will be extended within 3 months from the date of receipt of the application from the family (legal heir). | - The family (legal heir) should approach this department for the release of the balance 50% of the relief which will be deposited in the bank in a joint account in the name of kin (legal heir) and the competent authority concerned. | - If no further information is received about the missing person, the balance amount will be released in favour of the next of kin (legal heir), after the prescribed period of 9 months from the date of release of 1st part of lump sum. | *In case of the return of the missing fishermen, the amount extended as compensation either ₹ 50,000 or ₹ 1,00,000 as the case may be, will be recovered by invoking an insurance bond.

Launched on 6th February 2024, the scheme "Compensation Amount towards Cattle Injury Caused by Forest Animals" by the Forest Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, provides compensation in case of death of cattle due to attacks by wild animals.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to owners of domestic animals who suffer losses due to attacks by wild animals in forest areas and their surroundings. Under this scheme, a grant ranging from ₹3,000 to ₹40,000 per animal is provided, depending on the species and extent of loss.

The scheme aims to uplift traditional fishermen by providing financial help in the form of a subsidy on the purchase or construction of new wooden or Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic fishing crafts below 26 feet for inland fishing activities in Goa.

💰Financial Assistance/Subsidy | - Financial assistance is provided for the purchase or construction of New Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic or wooden canoes below 26 feet, including nets, accessories, and insulated fish and ice holding boxes. | - For the General Category, financial assistance is up to 40% of the unit cost, limited to ₹40,000/-. | - For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Women, and their Co-operatives, financial assistance is up to 60% of the unit cost, limited to ₹60,000/-. | - The unit cost considered for the Craft & Gear (Unit: Boats of appropriate sizes including nets, fish & ice holding boxes etc.) is ₹1,00,000/-. | Disbursement | - The subsidy amount shall be disbursed in favor of the applicant in his or her Bank account. | Conditions | - _The fishing canoe must be registered under the Captain of Ports Department._ | - _The nets and its accessories purchased through the scheme must be duly registered with the Directorate of Fisheries under the Goa, Daman and Diu Fisheries Rules, 1981._ | - _The beneficiary shall not sell, mortgage, or transfer the Fishing canoe, nets, accessories, or insulated ice holding boxes purchased through the scheme for a period of five years from the date of its purchase._

The scheme aims to provide assistance to the Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Caste communities for the purchase of basic dairy equipments needed to run a small scale dairy farming, and to encourage the tribal population to adopt Animal Husbandry activities, especially Dairy Development Schemes.

💰Maximum Financial Assistance | - 100% subsidy shall be provided for dairy items of general use. | - The subsidy is subject to a maximum amount of ₹30,000/- or the actual cost of the items, whichever is lower. | - The subsidy is a one-time assistance per family. | Maximum Permissible Subsidy per Item | - Stainless Steel Cans (Twenty liters Capacity): ₹3,800/- (for 2 permissible units). | - 500 Liters Water Tanks: ₹3,500/- (for 1 permissible unit). | - Calf Nipple Bucket: ₹1,500/- (for 1 permissible unit). | - Spray Pump 15 Liters Capacity: ₹2,000/- (for 1 permissible unit). | - Steel Buckets: ₹2,200/- (for 2 permissible units). | - 0.5 Horsepower water Pump: ₹5,000/- (for 1 permissible unit). | - Ceiling Fans: ₹4,000/- (for 2 permissible units). | - Steel Vessels 5 Liters Capacity: ₹900/- (for 2 permissible units). | - Spade: ₹250/- (for 1 permissible unit). | - Grooming Brush: ₹400/- (for 2 permissible units). | - Gamelas: ₹500/- (for 2 permissible units). | - Nylon Rope: ₹400/- (for 2.5 kilograms). | - Sickle: ₹250/- (for 1 permissible unit). | - Pickaxe: ₹300/- (for 1 permissible unit). | - Rubber mat: ₹5,000/- (for 2 permissible units). | Benefit Disbursal | - Subsidy shall be directly credited to the beneficiary’s bank account. | - In case of limited purchase of dairy items, proportionate subsidy shall be released. | - The Department will release the subsidy within 60 days of receiving the documents completed in all respects. | Conditions | - The beneficiary must use the dairy equipments purchased for the development of their dairy unit. | - The beneficiary shall abide by the provision of the said scheme, and undertake to comply with the Pattern of Assistance of the scheme as contained in the scheme. | - The beneficiary must use the dairy equipments for a minimum period of 3 (three) years from the date of purchase, subject to normal wear and tear. | - The beneficiary solemnly undertakes to refund the cost of the items if the items are found misutilised or missing. | - In case of breach of any clause, the Government is free to recover the subsidy released through any due benefits under other eligible schemes of the Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services and/or under the land revenue code.

Krishak Bandhu Scheme

The scheme aims to provide financial security to farmers through direct income support and death/disability benefits. It benefits small and marginal farmers with annual assistance of ₹5,000/- per acre and a one-time payout of ₹2,00,000/- in case of death.

💰Direct Income Support | - Farmers with one acre or more of cultivable land receive ₹10,000/- per annum, payable in two equal installments of ₹5,000/- each (one for Kharif and one for Rabi season). | - Farmers with less than one acre of cultivable land receive assistance on a pro-rata basis, subject to a minimum of ₹4,000/- per annum, paid in two equal installments. | Death/Disability Benefit | - In the event of the death of a farmer between the ages of 18 and 60 years, a one-time lump sum grant of ₹2,00,000/- is provided to the legal heirs of the deceased. The farmer must have been enrolled under the Krishak Bandhu scheme at the time of death. | - A one-time lump sum grant of ₹2,00,000/- for permanent disability of the farmer due to accident. | Disbursement Conditions | - Income support is linked to land ownership records. | - Death benefit requires submission of legal heir certificates. | - Disbursed via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the beneficiary's bank account.
